CONVEYING APPARATUS FOR CONTAINERS, MORE PARTICULARLY PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS
A conveying apparatus for pharmaceutical containers includes a stator device having a transfer opening. The containers are able to be fed successively via a feed track in a feed direction. The apparatus also includes a rotor device with a rotating body that is rotatable about an axis of rotation on the stator device. The apparatus further includes a drive unit for the rotating body. The rotating body includes at least one receptacle for a container. The receptacle aligns with the transfer opening in a transfer position. The stator device includes a dispensing opening at a distance from the transfer opening. Each container can be fed to the dispensing opening by rotation of the rotating body. The stator device also includes a guide element for each container in the direction of the dispensing opening, and support elements for each container on opposite sides of the dispensing opening.
Helical conveyor
A helical conveyor for transporting products in downward direction by means of gravity comprises a frame and a helical track extending around an upright centerline. The helical track is supported by the frame and comprises a bottom for bearing a product. The bottom has an inclination angle in a direction (X) along the helical track. At least a portion of the bottom is formed by a transport surface of a drivable conveying system such that the transport surface has a predefined speed in downward direction (X) along the helical track. The inclination angle at an inner bend of the transport surface of the conveying system is larger than 20.
Radiation detector unit with three-side buttable read-out integrated circuit and method of making thereof
A radiation detector unit includes a read-out integrated circuit (ROIC) including a plurality of core circuit blocks located on a continuous uninterrupted substrate adjacent to one another along a first direction, and a plurality of radiation sensors bonded to a front side surface of the ROIC, where each radiation sensor of the plurality of radiation sensors is bonded to a respective core circuit block of the plurality of core circuit blocks of the ROIC. Additional embodiments include detector modules and detector arrays formed by assembling the detector units, and methods of operating and manufacturing the same.
Apparatus for orienting or rotating objects
Apparatus for orienting objects, including a conveying apparatus, wherein the conveying apparatus has an inlet for receiving the objects and an outlet and is configured to convey the objects in a conveying direction. In this case, the conveying apparatus has an orienting apparatus which at least partially extends along the conveying direction. The orienting apparatus has a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion are arranged next to one another along the conveying direction, wherein at least one of the first portion and the second portion is configured as an aero surface, and wherein the objects are subjected to a different acceleration/braking action by the first portion and the second portion for orientation purposes.
VERTICAL DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR GOLF BALLS
A delivery system for transporting a golf ball from a first location to a second location has a transport track. The transport track has a first track and a second track. The first track has a first contact edge and a second contact edge configured to simultaneously contact a golf ball. The second track has a third contact edge and fourth contact edge configured to simultaneously contact a golf ball. The first track is positioned opposite the second track and is configured to fit a golf ball therebetween. The first track and the second track each have a repeating curvature that produces an undulating path for a golf ball between the first location and the second location.
Hangar guide
Examples provide a hanger guide for diverting items having a hanger hook away from dividers on a sloped surface of a sorting machine as the hooked items move through a channel defined by one or more of the dividers. The hanger guide includes a diameter greater than the diameter of a hook on the hooked items preventing the hook from catching on the hanger guide. The hanger guide substantially covers a leading edge of a divider on which the hanger guide is attached preventing a hook from catching on any uncovered portion of the leading edge. The hanger guide is removably attached to the divider via one or more fasteners. When a hook comes into contact with the hanger guide, the hook slides off the hanger guide and proceeds through the channel to the end of the sloped surface unimpeded.
Device for transporting objects
A device for transporting objects, including a first conveyor element and a second conveyor element. The first conveyor element protrudes beyond the second conveyor element, a first conveying surface being formed by the first conveyor element, and a second conveying surface being formed by the second conveyor element. The first conveying element being movable in dependence on the weight of the object to be transported, so that a first object of a first weight is moved on the first conveying surface and a second object of a second weight is moved on the second conveying surface, the second weight being greater than the first weight.
Dynamic Geometric Sorting Apparatus and Method
This disclosure presents a dynamic geometric sorting apparatus designed to organize variously shaped parts efficiently. The system includes a receiving box with an opening for input and an output opening, a base plate with alignment channels on an incline, and a box rake that moves along the base plate. An actuator controls the rake's motion profile, aligning parts into channels. The base plate extends beyond the box, featuring an extension for sorted parts exit. The apparatus adjusts the rake's speed based on its incline position and incorporates a hold down bar to manage part rows during sorting. Additionally, the rake has dividers of different sizes for part separation. The base plate's incline, actuator mechanisms, and a sensor bar with sensors ensure efficient sorting. The method involves applying a motion profile to parts in the box, aligning them into channels, and releasing them once sorted.
Chute arrangement and cap-removal apparatus
The invention relates to a chute arrangement for a cap-removal apparatus, the cap removal apparatus being configured to remove caps from sample containers, the chute arrangement comprising a chute for transporting removed caps through a transport space of the chute arrangement, a sensor for detecting caps passing through a detection range of the sensor, the transport space being partially delimited by a chute bottom of the chute, the chute bottom being inclined with respect to gravity, the detection range protruding into the transport space, the detection range having a range border within the transport space, and the range border facing the chute bottom at a distance so that a bypass portion of the transport space is formed in between the chute bottom and the detection range.
BAGGAGE CHUTE CUSHION
A baggage chute cushion to reduce damage to passenger baggage includes a layer of loose foam blocks; a resilient inner impact absorbing member including a contiguous layer of foam; and an outer casing covering the layer of loose foam blocks and the resilient inner impact absorbing member. The outer casing includes a rip-resistant fabric, and the contiguous layer of foam holds the layer of loose foam blocks within the outer casing.
