A transport apparatus is for conveying a shoe sole, and includes a rail unit divided into process and bridge regions, a delivery device and a transfer device. The delivery device is movable in the process and the bridge regions, and includes a conveyor belt for carrying the shoe sole and to move the shoe sole on the rail unit. The transfer device is located adjacent to the bridge region, and includes a transfer roller assembly and a transfer belt, which surrounds the transfer roller assembly and is drivable by the same for carrying the shoe sole. Systems and methods for high throughput cutting of sealing elements on packages
Systems and methods described herein are optimized for cutting sealing elements on packages using optical radiation. Packages can pass through a cutting device that applies the optical radiation to damage, vaporize, or cut the sealing element (e.g., tape) on the package. The systems and methods control several aspects of the cutting process to adjust throughput, improve efficiency, and reduce line stoppages. Systems can include an in-feed conveyor that orients packages and rejects packages that are out of specification, which can lead to issues such as jamming or damage to the equipment. Systems can include a variable-speed cut conveyor controlled by a computing system to dynamically adjust the speed of packages based upon historical cut quality, environmental measurement data, and height data related to a vertical dimension of the package.

Conveyor system, for instance for conveying goods, packages and the like including at least two wired motor-roller controllers, wherein each wired motor-roller controller has at least one motor-roller control port and at least one wired signal bus port, at least two wireless motor-roller controllers, wherein each wireless motor-roller controller has at least on motor-roller control port and a wireless port, and wherein the two wired motor-roller controllers are connected in series along the signal bus via the signal bus port, wherein at each wired motor-roller controller senses a signal strength of wireless signals of the wireless motor-roller controllers, and the wired motor-roller controllers exchange information about the sensed signal strengths.
