Drum motor with alternative transmission mount
A motor-driven conveyor roller comprises a conveyor roller tube, a first axle unit inserted into a first end of the conveyor roller tube, a first bearing unit at the first end, around which the conveyor roller tube is mounted so as to be correspondingly rotatable around the first axle unit, a drive unit, and a first gearing arranged in the conveyor roller tube and which transmits a torque, generated by the drive unit, between the conveyor roller tube and the first axle unit. An end cap is connected fixedly in terms of torque to the conveyor roller tube at the first end and to which the first gearing is connected fixedly in terms of torque at a first gearing connection section of the end cap, wherein the end cap has a second gearing connection section, which is different from the first gearing connection section.
Conveyance system with variable speed rollers
Techniques regarding a conveyance system with variable speed rollers are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise an apparatus, which can comprise a roller attached to a support member that is operatively coupled to a first gear. The first gear can drive a conveyance of the support member and the roller in a first direction. The apparatus can also comprise a shaft that can operatively couple the roller to a second gear. The second gear can drive a rotation of the roller in an axial direction.

AIR BEARING CONVEYOR
A roller conveyor having a bed of rollers supported by air bearings and driven by a linear-motor stator. The rollers are made of electrically conductive or magnetic material to operate as rotors forming linear motors with the linear stator. Air bearings support the ends of the rollers. Intermediate air bearings support the middle of long rollers in wide conveyors.

Conveying device with improved wiring of drive motor and brake of a conveying roller and operating method therefor
A conveying device (1) is specified, having two frame profiles (2, 3) and a conveying roller (4), arranged in between, with a drive motor (5) and a brake (6). The drive motor (5), located closer to the first frame profile (2), is connected in this case to a power supply bus (10) positioned on the first frame profile (2), and the brake (6), located closer to the second frame profile (3), is connected to a power supply bus (12) positioned on the second frame profile (3). In an operating method for the conveying roller (4), the drive motor (5)/the brake (6) are operated with a first voltage (U1) and associated electronic controllers (17, 30) are operated with a second, lower voltage (U2). In addition, the brake (6) is completely released/ventilated only with a time delay after the application of an electric voltage to the drive motor (5) for the purpose of starting up the conveying roller (4).
