Synchronous belt systems include two or more sprockets, a first endless belt, and a second endless belt. The belts are connected together with belts attachment hardware through belt ports, and a belts gap is defined between the first endless belt and the second endless belt. Each of the sprockets includes sprocket teeth and sprocket tooth spaces between adjacent teeth of the sprocket teeth, and each of the sprockets has a sprocket center ridge. The belts each include a plurality of belt split teeth, and each split tooth of the plurality of belt split teeth has a first belt ridge, a second belt ridge and a belt split tooth space disposed between the belt ridges. The belts gap engages the sprocket center ridge of each of the sprockets, and each of the belts attachment hardware is disposed within the adjacent belt split tooth spaces of the belts.

A container transport device for transporting containers in a container handling system includes a chassis for supporting the container transport device on a track. The chassis is equipped with a frame on which at least one tray for transporting the containers is provided in a vertically adjustable manner. A multi-belt conveyor is described. The multi-belt conveyor comprises a base assembly comprising a base frame that extends along a length of the multi-belt conveyor. Further, the multi-belt conveyor comprises a conveyor bed having a plurality of cartridges positioned adjacently to each other and mounted to the base frame. In this regard, each cartridge of the plurality of cartridges comprises a set of conveyor belts configured to move in a direction along the conveyor bed at a defined speed. Further, in accordance with example embodiments, a cartridge of the plurality of cartridges is configured to be removed from the conveyor bed without removing an adjacent cartridge from the plurality of cartridges. Further, each cartridge of the multi-belt conveyor comprises an actuation assembly comprising: a drive pulley, a roller-slider bed comprising a plurality of rollers, and the set of conveyor belts mounted around the roller-slider bed and the drive pulley.

A smart moving platform for transport of components in manufacturing includes a vehicle body, a transmission device, a conveying system, a detection device, a tag installation device, a control unit, and a tag reader. The conveying system conveys components. The detection device detects a location of the component and in a first predetermined area, the tag installation device installs and activates a tag on the component. The control unit writes component information to the activated tag and sets a predetermined period. The tag starts to count time elapsing, and the conveyor belt conveys the component to a second predetermined area. The tag reader reads the component information, the elapsed time, and a predetermined period of the tag. When the elapsed time matches the predetermined period, the conveying system sends the component to a third predetermined area.
