APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRIVING LOW COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION BELTING
A drive or tracking apparatus for a non-metal endless conveyor belt. The apparatus includes a plurality of spaced apart traction cleats molded from a polymer material and each extending outward from a surface of the endless conveyor belt. The cleats correspond to cup depressions formed in rollers for a conveying apparatus to provide positive drive and anti-slip features for the belt.
Recycled micronized rubber formulation having improved abrasion resistance
This invention is based upon the discovery that micronized solution styrene-butadiene rubber from postconsumer sources can be included in rubber formulations without severely compromising abrasion resistance. The micronized solution styrene-butadiene rubber utilized in the rubber formulations of this invention can be made by cryogenic grinding postconsumer rubber products using conventional procedures. For instance, it can be made by cryogenically grinding a tire tread containing a high level of solution styrene-butadiene rubber. The micronized solution styrene-butadiene rubber can then be blending into desired virgin rubbers and cured without significantly compromising the abrasion resistance of the rubber formulation. The rubber formulation of this invention is comprised of a natural or synthetic rubber and from 1 weight percent to 30 weight percent of a micronized rubber composition containing at least 10 weight percent solution styrene-butadiene rubber and having a particle size of 40 mesh to 200 mesh.

Method for producing and/or recycling a conveyor belt, and conveyor belt
A method for producing and/or recycling a conveyor belt, the conveyor belt having at least one belt layer, the at least one belt layer or one of the belt layers including a tension member, the tension member including a matrix material and filaments embedded in the matrix material, includes: providing a tension member starting material by: providing a recyclate, which already contains filaments or filament groups, or combining a recyclate, which already contains filaments or filament groups, with the matrix material and/or filaments, or combining the matrix material with filaments; producing an extrudable state of the tension member starting material by mixing the provided tension member starting material in a mechanically-aided manner and influencing a temperature on the provided tension member starting material; and extruding the tension member, forming the at least one belt layer of the conveyor belt, from the tension member starting material.
DESTRUCTION OF AIRBORNE PATHOGENS, AND MICROORGANISMS ON GRAINS AND DRIED FOOD USING ULTRASOUND
An acoustic apparatus and method for using a combination of low-frequency and high-frequency vibration of dried food, grain being an example, such that there are a large number of collisions among the individual grain particles for destroying microorganisms that reside on the surface or just below the surface of the grain, are described. Embodiments of the invention permit bulk and continuous processing of the food. It is expected that such collisions do not produce any chemical changes in the food, nor should it have any adverse effects on the taste thereof. Embodiments of the apparatus are applicable to destruction of airborne microorganisms.

Pressure-retaining Automata for Voice-operated Motherboard Adhesive and SR
The invention belongs to the technical field of automatic equipment for pressure retention of earphone voice-operated motherboard adhesive and SR, and discloses a pressure-retaining automata for voice-operated motherboard adhesive and SR, which consists of a rack, an independent belt module arranged on the rack, opposite sensors fixed on each belt module, a guide module set on the belt module, and a stop module disposed on the guide module. The invention realizes high automation and high positioning accuracy.
Endless belt, heat-sealing device, fixing device, and article transfer device
An endless belt includes a substrate layer, and a first surface layer that is disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the substrate layer and that includes a cross-linked fluororesin layer. A layer containing a cross-linked fluororesin forms the inner circumferential surface of the belt. Martens hardness of the inner circumferential surface of the belt at 130° C. is higher than Martens hardness of the outer circumferential surface of the belt at 130° C.

MODULAR OMNIDIRECTIONAL HYGIENIC CONVEYOR BELT AND DIRECTIONAL CONTROL SYSTEM
A modular omnidirectional hygienic conveyor belt constructed of a series of similar conveyor belt modules connected by pivot pins. Each conveyor belt module includes a modular laterally extending body having first spaced apart hinge eyes extending in a first direction and being connected to a first pivot pin and laterally offset second spaced apart hinge eyes extending in an opposed second direction and being connected to a second pivot pin. A plurality of spheres are captured by, engage and rotate omnidirectionally relative to upper and lower arcuate sphere contact surfaces of the body, which define for the spheres openly exposed opposed upper and lower spherical cap regions and openly exposed spherical segment regions therebetween, wherein openings in the body provide access for hygienic cleaning. A directional control system may drive the omnidirectional rotation of the spheres.
