The present invention is to provide a rubber composition that can be a conveyor belt having excellent heat resistance and wear resistance, and a conveyor belt. An embodiment of the present invention is a rubber composition for a conveyor belt containing: per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component containing at least an ethylene-1-butene copolymer, from 1 to 10 parts by mass of antimony trioxide, and from 10 to 50 parts by mass of a compound represented by Formula (1). In Formula (1), R represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group that may contain an unsaturated bond.

Universal sorter transfer module

A transfer module for a universal sorting conveyor has a ball belt looped around two pulley assemblies mounted to a frame and driven in a machine direction. Two bi-directional cross-belt assemblies are mounted to the frame to provide two smooth surfaced belts each supported on a roller bed. The belts extend beneath and engage the ball belt to advance a conveyed parcel in the cross direction. Each cross belt assembly has internal motorized drive rollers at the ends and a multiplicity of closely spaced idler rollers of smaller diameter than the drive rollers which define the roller bed, with a spacing between the idlers rollers of less than one inch. The ball belt has a plurality of plastic link bodies pivotally connected to one another, each with a downwardly opening socket having downwardly facing entry notches which allow distortion of the socket for entry of a ball therein.

VACUUM BELT DEBURRING ASSEMBLY

A deburring apparatus includes (among other components) a frame and an elongated flat element connected to the frame. Rollers are adapted to support and rotate a vacuum belt around the apparatus. A perforation device is positioned and adapted to make perforations in the vacuum belt as the vacuum belt is rotated by the rollers. Making the perforations in the vacuum belt causes debris to remain in at least one of the perforations. The elongated flat element is positioned to contact the debris in the perforations.

A colorized and tribologically modified polyoxymethylene polymer composition is disclosed. The polyoxymethylene polymer composition is comprised of a polyoxymethylene polymer in combination with at least one tribological modifier. The tribological modifier may include a fluoropolymer. The polymer composition further contains at least one coloring agent in combination with a color stabilizer. The color stabilizer has been found to dramatically improve color consistency. Polymer articles molded from the polymer composition not only have excellent surface appearance but have excellent low friction characteristics when tested against aluminum.

The exemplary woven planar structure includes metal and glass warp fibers that extend in the longitudinal direction, and metal and/or glass weft fibers which extend transversely of the warp fibers. The diameter of the glass warp fibers is substantially greater than the diameter of the metal warp fibers which causes the outer surfaces of the glass fibers to extend outwardly of the metal warp fibers on the outer surface. This configuration causes items engaged with the outer surface to be operatively engaged with only the glass warp fibers. In exemplary arrangements a coating comprised of fluoropolymer extends on the fiber surfaces which comprise the entire outer surface of the planar structure and the belt.
