BELT CONVEYOR CAPABLE OF CONVEYING OILSEED PRODUCTS
A belt and a belt conveyor are provided for transporting particulate material and especially oilseeds up the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor can include an intake end having a hopper, a discharge end, a body extending between the intake end and the discharge end and a belt. The belt travels along a travel path in the belt conveyor; the belt traveling through the hopper, up an upper run in the body to the discharge end, down a return run in the body, and back through the hopper. The belt can have a top surface having pairs of adjacent ridges provided on the top surface, each ridge having a pair of arms extending from a point, in a travel direction of the belt, wherein each pair of adjacent ridges define a v-channel on the top surface of the belt.
BRASS-PLATED STEEL WIRE FOR REINFORCING RUBBER ARTICLE
This disclosure is to provide a brass-plated steel wire for reinforcing a rubber article, which is capable of improving overvulcanization adhesiveness. This disclosure is a brass-plated steel wire for reinforcing a rubber article, wherein: when measured with XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), an outermost surface contains zinc at an amount of 4.93 to 14 atom %, and contains oxygen at an amount of 50 atom % or less; and in the outermost surface, an atomic ratio of copper to zinc is more than 2.33 and 6 or less.
BELT THAT IS CONTINUOUSLY CLOSED IN THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION, IN PARTICULAR ROUND BALER BELT
A belt, such as a round baler belt, includes a core region, and at least one peripheral region arranged transversely to a longitudinal direction of the belt, where the peripheral region has a protective element at least sectionally, and the belt is continuously closed in the longitudinal direction. In some cases, the protective element is arranged around the entire continuously closed circumference in the longitudinal direction. The protective element may be stretched more in the longitudinal direction than the core region. The protective element may be a metal element, and in some cases, is a steel wire. Further, the protective element may be configured in an interrupted manner in the longitudinal direction. In some cases, a plurality of protective elements are arranged in a manner overlapping one another sectionally in the longitudinal direction.
Conveyor apparatus for electronic waste transfer
A shielded conveyor apparatus for use with a shredder machine to transfer shredded material. The conveyor apparatus includes a base supporting an inclined ramp with a bottom inlet and a top discharge. A conveyor belt, driven by a motor positioned adjacent the top discharge, is shielded along its length by a cover and viewable through sight glasses. The belt is formed with opposed side walls and spaced barrier walls extending from its surface to define material-carrying pockets that control the quantity of material transported while preventing spillage during rotation. The conveyor couples to a shredder machine housing one or more sets of shredder teeth driven by motors to process objects of varying sizes, including hard drives, solid state drives, CDs, and USB cards. Shredded material exits the shredder through a chute and enters the conveyor inlet for controlled transfer to a discharge or collection bin.
