Machines for sorting objects

Machines for sorting objects having a series of carriages fixed at a given interval (P) to two drive belts configured to move along closed-loop paths in two parallel vertical planes are provided. Each path may include a top horizontal section and a bottom horizontal section joined together by two curved connecting end sections. Two end assemblies may be arranged at the curved end sections of the path. Each assembly may include crown gears which are configured to engage with the belts and a series of sliders which are configured to retain the carriages along a semicircular section close to the crown gears. The carriages are thus able to perform a rotary/translational movement along the end connecting sections and keep their support surface horizontally oriented.

Slat conveyor for extraction systems and transport plates therefor

The present disclosure relates to a slat conveyor for transporting material in mining and extraction systems. The slat conveyor may comprise a plurality of channel elements arranged in a series, a material-transport strand and an oppositely-moving return strand. The slat conveyor may further comprise an endless conveyor including a conveyor chain and a plurality of transport plates with a plate section, which may be pivotable downward in a delivery area for the transported material. Thus, for example, a flat-constructed slat conveyor (apron conveyor) having a low loading height may be provided.

A loading device for loading transport units in an overhead conveyor device includes an overhead conveyor device having at least one transport unit with a transport pouch mounted on a carrier element in a pivotably suspended manner. The transport unit is conveyed along a conveying path and the transport pouch includes a rear wall that is mounted on the carrier element of the transport unit in a pivotably suspended manner and the rear wall has two bearing points arranged laterally on one side of the rear wall. A front wall is movably connected to the rear wall. A pivoting device interacts with the front wall to pivot the transport pouch during conveying along a first section of the conveying path from a vertical first orientation to a pivoted second orientation. A first supporting device supports a transport pouch pivoted into the second orientation during conveying along a second section by the two bearing points of the rear wall of the transport pouch. A second supporting device supports the front wall during conveying along a third section of the conveying path. The first supporting device and the second supporting device are configured so that in a region in which the second section and the third section of the conveying path overlap, the transport pouch has a determined, geometrically defined opening.

CONVEYOR SYSTEM

Conveyor system for transport of food products includes a curved pathway defined by a profiled track, and wheel cars having wheels that are movably contained within and guided by the track. A removable connector is positioned between and separates a pair of the wheel cars, the wheel cars and connectors form part of a continuous transport chain extending along the pathway. The transport chain has an attachment side facing an open side of the track, and the track is arranged with the open side facing substantially horizontally such that the attachment side is oriented substantially vertically during motion of the wheel cars along the pathway. A carrier is pivotably mounted to the attachment side of the transport chain to maintain its carrier rack horizontal as the carrier travels along the pathway. The connectors reduce substantially the number of wheel cars and corresponding wheels, also reducing noise and wear during operation.
