Article transport facility
An upper shelf section of a holding rack includes an upper placement section fixed to a ceiling. A lower shelf section of the holding rack includes: a fixed support fixed to the upper shelf section, a lower placement section supported by the fixed support so as to be capable of advancing and retreating relative to a travel rail as viewed in a vertical direction; and a drive transmission mechanism drivable by a rack drive mechanism of a transport vehicle to cause the lower placement section to advance and retreat. The lower placement section is positioned directly below the upper placement section while in a retreated position, and is positioned directly below the travel rail while in an advanced position. The lower placement section is below a lower end of the transport vehicle.
Garment conveyor transport clip with single hanger selection
A sorting clip for a garment conveyor attaches to a drive chain below which is a hanger support on which a group of garment hangers is suspended from a frontmost to a rearmost hanger. The clip has an upper portion fixed to the drive chain and a lower portion attached to the upper portion by a pivotable connected biased in a first direction of increasing angular separation between the two portions. An underside of the lower portion has disassociation teeth and a capture hook that contact the frontmost hanger to successively engage and separate the frontmost hanger from the other hangers, after which disengagement of the teeth from the frontmost hanger allows for sufficient pivoting of the lower portion in said first direction that the hook engages and captures the frontmost hanger.
Appliance for charging transport pockets
An appliance for charging transport pockets with a transport item includes a feed device that feeds the transport item into a transfer zone and a suspended conveying device with a plurality of transport pockets that are arranged one after the other for taking over the transport item in the transfer zone and conveying away the charged transport pockets. The transport pockets each form a receiving compartment for the transport item, and are connected to a conveying member of the suspended conveying device. The transport pockets are moved through the transfer zone in a lying formation in a transfer conveying direction, and the transport item, by way of the feed device, is conveyed into the transfer zone essentially in the transfer conveying direction of the transport pockets, and in a delivery region is delivered from above onto the transport pockets which are moved through the transfer zone below the feed device.
Method for opening a transport pocket suspended on a carriage as well as a pocket opening device for performing the method
In a method for opening a transport pocket (15), which is moved in a conveying direction (BR) along a running rail (11) extending in the conveying direction (BR) for the conveying of goods suspended on a carriage (12), simple and precise loading and/or unloading of the transport pocket (15) is enabled by the fact that the carriage (12) with the transport pocket (15) suspended thereon is stopped in its forward movement at a predetermined point of the running rail (11) in order to open the transport pocket (15), and that the transport pocket (15) of the carriage (12) is opened for loading and/or unloading of conveyed goods to be transported.
Conveyance facility
A conveyance facility for conveying a bag includes a carrier including a support supporting the bag, and traveling wheels. A conveyance path includes a straight section and a curve section. In the curve section, a pulley rotatable along the curve section and in frictional contact with the support; and a guide rail guiding the traveling wheels are provided. The guide rail includes a rotation guide rail guiding one traveling wheel of a pair of the traveling wheels, and rotating with the pulley; a fixed guide rail guiding another traveling wheel of the pair of traveling wheels, and being provided along the rotation guide rail; and an upper guide rail and a side guide rail guiding the support.
Inverted Carrier Lift Device System and Method
An inverted carrier lift and method is disclosed. The inverted carrier lift includes a trolley movable along an overhead conveyor and a carrier for supporting a workpiece to undergo an assembly or manufacturing process. The carrier is movable relative to the trolley from a raised position to a lowered position by a motor engaged with a lifting mechanism on the trolley. On rotation of the motor, the carrier and supported workpiece is lowered or raised to position the workpiece in the workstation for processing. The workpiece may be disengaged by the carrier for support of the workpiece by one of many different fixtures depending on the processing. Following processing, the workpiece is re-engaged by the carrier, moved to a raised position and the trolley is transferred to a subsequent workstation.
Indexing conveyor system and method
An indexing conveyor system including a work station skipping device. The conveyor system has a rail situated above a plurality of same-length work stations along a path of conveyance. The work station skipping device is operable to engage a load and transfer the load from a first conveyor carriage to a second, further downstream carriage for advancing more than one work station length so that the load skips over a predetermined one of the plurality of work stations.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED CARRIERS
A conveyor system comprising a fixed, non-powered rail defining a conveyor path and an automated conveyor carrier (ACC) supported on the rail to be movable along the conveyor path. The ACC includes an on-board motor and an on-board electrical power source selectively powering the on-board motor to drive the ACC along the rail. The ACC may include a wireless sleep mode module operable to selectively shut off power to an on-board ACC controller.
CONVEYING DEVICE FOR THE CLOCK-INTEGRATION OF TRANSPORT UNITS
A conveying device (100) for the clock-integration of transport units (1, 1.1-1.4), includes a plurality of transport units, an indexing conveyor (2) for the clocked conveyance of the transport units, the indexing conveyor having a plurality of carriers (21, 21.1), which are respectively detachably connectable to a transport unit, at least one conveyor section (3), and a diverter (4), via which the conveyor section is connected at a clock-integration point (E) to the indexing conveyor and which is configured to clock-integrate the transport units at the clock-integration point into the indexing conveyor.
