The present invention disclosed a foam product and the manufacturing method thereof. The foam product includes a foam core, an outer skin, a cross-linked foam sheet and a bottom plate, wherein the aforementioned layers are all pre-made. The cross-linked foam sheet is laminated onto a bottom surface of the foam core, and the outer skin is then laminated onto a top surface and a periphery of the foam core. Lastly, the bottom plate is laminated onto the cross-linked foam sheet, wherein, the bottom plate has a non cross-linked foam sheet and a non-foam plastic plate, so that when the bottom plate is laminated onto the crossed-link foam sheet, the non cross-linked foam sheet is sandwiched between the cross-linked foam sheet and the non-foam plastic plate.

Board Sports Structural Element

A sports board comprises, at a minimum, a top layer, a bottom layer, and a core in between them. A structural element with puzzle piece shape fits into a correspondingly shaped seat formed by the core, in between the top and bottom layers. The shape of the structural element prevents the structural element from being dislodged by shock forces frequently associated with use of the board. Machined or molded features are provided that penetrate or partially penetrate the structural element. These features, which are filled or included with resin, adhesive or another chemical bonding agent, resist horizontal shearing between the structural element, the core, and the top and bottom layers. A leading portion of the structural element protrudes out from in between the top and bottom layers, forming a bumper that acts as the first point of contact between the board and the ground or an obstacle.

METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR SNOW PROFILE MEASUREMENT

Methods, devices and computer systems utilize ground penetrating radar (GPR) embedded in or mounted on a ski or other equipment that is in contact with the snow during use device in order to obtain snow profile data from layers of snow or ice. A GPR device may include a trained model capable of deriving snow profile information based on GPR data and may also be capable of uploading GPR data to an online service. The online service can use the received GPR data to derive snow profile information, distribute snow profile information to user devices, and generate and distribute updated trained models. The online service may access online repositories of additional information and refine the snow profile information or the trained model based on such addition information. Generated snow profile information can be used to provide avalanche risk assessments.
