Chain conveyor link

A linkage for moving material from a first end of a conveyor toward a second end of the conveyor includes a first link and a second link. The first link includes a first side edge and a first indicator. The second link includes a second side edge and a second indicator. The second link is coupled to the first link such that the first side edge of the first link overlaps with the second side edge of the second link. Elongation of the first link in the direction of movement causes the first indicator to move relative to the second indicator, and a position of the first indicator relative to the second indicator provides an indication of a wear condition of the first link. In some aspects, a first surface and/or a second surface of one of the links includes a wear indicator representing a surface wear condition.

LINKED DISC ASSEMBLY
20190256293 · 2019-08-22 ·

A linked disc assembly for use in continuous chain tensioning assemblies in tubular chain drag conveyors, comprising link members and alternating double ear disc members. Each disc member comprises a disc plate and an ear member transversely projecting therefrom. Each ear member consists of an arcuate leg defining a channel extending parallel to the disc plate and hingedly engaged by a link member. Each open chain link member defines a spacing gap. Each ear member arcuate leg defines a transverse notch adjacent a corresponding disc plate, the notch sized and shaped complementarily to the link member gap so as to form a sliding ramp for manual guided quick release through passage of a link member.

A chain having a horizontal chain link and a vertical chain link linked in the horizontal chain link. The chain links each having two legs and two opposite bows connecting the legs to one another, such that the links each form self-contained courses. The horizontal link has a functional section on at least one bow designed, on the one hand, in a blocking plane such that the functional section cannot plunge through the vertical link arranged in a first orientation relative to the horizontal link, and, on the other hand, with a width that is narrower than the inner width of the vertical link such that that functional section can plunge through the vertical link arranged in a second orientation relative to the horizontal link. The horizontal link has an inner support section in the inward-facing apex bow region and, on the functional section, provides an outer support path leading around the course of the horizontal link for supporting the vertical link.

Chain And Arrangement Of A Chain With A Sprocket

A chain having a chain link with two legs and two bows connecting the legs together, the bows extending in the bow extension direction between the two legs, wherein an end face of at least one bow, which faces outwards in the pitch direction of the chain link, has two pressure portions spaced apart from one another in the bow extension direction and an intermediate portion connecting the pressure portions, wherein the pressure portions each provide a contact surface between the chain link and a corresponding chain pocket of a chain wheel for introducing a force into the chain, and wherein the end face of the bow is convexly curved in the bow extension direction in the pressure portions and the end face of the bow has, at least in portions in the intermediate portion, a smaller radius of curvature than in the pressure portions.

Driving sprocket for a marine-type chain
10321660 · 2019-06-18 ·

A driving sprocket for a marine-type chain whose links have a section of diameter between 8 and 20 millimeters, intended to be used in the agricultural field. The sprocket includes a main cylindrical recess between two lateral flanges and a plurality of regularly spaced forks projecting radially from the recess, delineating housings intended for receiving every other link of the substantially flat chain. The flanges extend beyond the recess over a height substantially equal to the width of a link of the chain.

Conveyor chain

A conveyor chain includes a plurality of side link assemblies and flight arm assemblies coupled together to form an elongated chain. The flight arm assemblies include a pair of opposing flight arms positioned on either side of the chain with the flight arms each including an elongated body formed with and extending from an integral base and a vertical sprocket opening formed in the integral base. The vertical sprocket opening is configured for engaging a tooth of a drive sprocket to drive the flight arm. The side link assemblies include a pair of opposing side straps positioned on either side of the chain each including a base and a pair of side strap bosses extending outwardly from the base. An articulating connector is positioned between a flight arm assembly and a side link assembly to couple the assemblies together and includes a solid piece and side surfaces having profiled surfaces therein and configured for receiving at least one of a portion of a side strap of a side link assembly or a portion of a base of a flight arm assembly for providing articulation of the assemblies.
