SNAP-ON POSITION LIMITER FOR A CONVEYOR BELT

A conveyor employs a low-tension, direct drive conveyor belt, and a snap-on position limiter for ensuring proper engagement of the belt and a drive sprocket. The position limiter includes a body, a limiting surface and a snap clap opposite the limiting surface for snapping the position limiter to a mounting shaft. The position limiter may include a mounting arm for mounting a conveyor belt scraper at the front of the position limiter. Mounting plates at the end of the conveyor support a mounting shaft for mounting the position limiter or other conveyor components in place relative to the drive sprocket.

A curved belt conveyor includes a supporting structure having a base for supporting the conveyor on a floor and a curved top portion engaged to the base. The curved top portion defines at least one curved advancing plane for one or more objects and/or articles to be moved along a curvilinear advancing path and has an arched wide side and an arched narrow side opposite each other. An endless conveyor belt is operatively engaged to the curved top portion to define the curved advancing plane and the conveyor belt is at least partially around at least two revolving rollers rotatively engaged to the curved top portion. At least one of the rollers is movable relative to the other between a distant position, wherein the conveyor belt is under tension and not removable from the rollers and a close position, wherein the conveyor belt is loose and removable from the rollers.

The invention relates to a conveyor part, having a conveyor track, wherein the conveyor track comprises at least one rotary moulded conveyor track structure. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing a conveyor part comprising the following steps, to be performed in any suitable order: providing a rotary mould having a cavity shaped as the outside of a conveyor portions, adding a thermoplastic or resinous material inside the mould, rotating the mould under gradually heating the mould, allowing the thermoplastic material to melt and to cover the inner walls of the mould or allowing the resinous material to cure on the inner walls of the mould, allowing the mould to cool, opening the mould to remove the conveyor part.

Further, the conveyor frame has a plurality of zones and a pair of longitudinal side rails extending through at least one of the plurality of zones. Further, each zone of the conveyor frame is associated with a distinct detachable conveyor section of the plurality of detachable conveyor sections and includes a power transmission assembly. Further, each detachable conveyor section is detachably mounted to the pair of longitudinal side rails via a plurality of fasteners and includes a conveyor section drive pulley. Further, the power transmission assembly includes a conveyor frame drive pulley, an idler pulley, a tensioner, and a drive belt. Further, the tensioner of each power transmission assembly is configured to release tension of an associated drive belt for detaching an associated detachable conveyor section from the conveyor frame.
