The endless belt includes a first run and a second run, and the first run extends along a conveyor axis. The support structure includes an end spaced apart from the boot end, a plurality of frames, and a plurality of idler rolls. The frames are spaced apart from one another and aligned with one another in a direction parallel to the conveyor axis. The idler rolls support another portion of the endless belt. The bridge extends between the boot end and the end of the support structure. The bridge is movable in a direction parallel to the conveyor axis relative to at least one of the boot end and the support structure.

A path forming device for forming a part of a series of article conveying passage and opening a path for passing through when a worker crosses the article conveying passage, the path forming device including: a fixed side conveyor device located at a constant height position; a movable side conveyor device; a lifting and lowering function that lifts and lowers the movable side conveyor device; and a linear movement function that linearly moves the movable side conveyor device, wherein the movable side conveyor device is capable of taking: an article conveying posture in which the movable side conveyor device protrudes from the fixed side conveyor device in a cantilever state, and is linearly aligned with the fixed side conveyor at substantially the same height as the fixed side conveyor; and a path opening posture in which a height of the movable side conveyor device is lowered by the lifting and lowering function, the movable side conveyor device is made to move to the fixed side conveyor device by the linear movement function, the movable side conveyor device is located under the fixed side conveyor device, and a part of or all of the movable side conveyor device overlaps with the fixed side conveyor device on the same plane.

The take-away conveyor includes a receiving frame, a conveyor base, and a safety plate mounted on the conveyor base. For ease of installation, safety purposes and servicin, the take-away conveyor may be removed easily with tools. A proposed stacking device includes a conveyor belt wound through a series of rollers which permit horizontal extension of the conveyor path toward a downstream workstation. The extendable conveyor path allows for easy transferring and stacking of the workpieces at the downstream workstation.

Described herein is a conveyor belt including: —a support structure; —a mobile belt; —a plurality of rollers, which are associated to the support structure and are suitable to support and move the belt along a closed path. Said plurality of rollers includes a drive roller and at least three idler rollers. Two rollers are supported directly by the support structure, while two rollers are supported by a mobile frame, which is slidingly associated to the support structure to be moved between a retracted position, in which a roller arranged at the second end is positioned completely inside said support structure, and an extracted position, in which said roller protrudes outside the support structure. In the transition between the two positions, the length of the useful conveyor area of the belt varies and is compensated by an equivalent variation in length of another portion of the closed path.
