A method is provided for packaging objects which are included in a plurality of objects belonging to the fruit and vegetable group and the shape of which is such that the objects included in the plurality of objects can roll along a surface. The objects included in the plurality of objects are deposited onto a solid surface of a system for packaging the objects. The deposition surface is substantially horizontal, suitable for receiving the objects included in the plurality of objects and elastically deformable such that the deposition of each object on the deposition surface creates, under the weight of the object concerned, a recess in the deposition surface. This tends to wedge the object in the recess, then the objects included in the plurality of objects deposited onto the deposition surface and held in a position relative to the deposition surface which position is fixed during deposition and held subsequent to deposition due to the deposition surface, are removed from the deposition surface for the purpose of packing in a packaging container.

Various embodiments are directed to conveyor apparatuses and methods of using the same. In various embodiments, a conveyor apparatus comprises a conveyor frame including a plurality of opposing sidewalls extending in a length direction and a bottom panel comprising a hinged configuration relative to the opposing sidewalls such that the bottom panel is configured for movement throughout a range of rotational motion between a closed position and an open position; and a bottom panel positioning assembly comprising: a mounting bracket secured to one of the opposing sidewalls; a positioning element slidably engaged relative to the mounting bracket and configurable between a nominal position and an engaged position; and a retention element configured to bias the positioning element towards the nominal position; wherein the bottom panel positioning assembly is configured to facilitate selective arrangement of the bottom panel based at least in part on an arrangement of the positioning element.

Conveyor device for conveying food

A conveyor device for food includes bar members coupled with coupling members to form a conveyor belt. A guide rail supports the belt, and a sprocket meshes with tooth-shaped portions formed on the coupling members. Each coupling members includes a metallic insert member. A wear resistant resin member incorporating the metallic insert member has a bent shape with an interior space(s), both end portions coupled to a first bar member, and a pair of slotted holes in which a second bar member which is adjacent to the first bar member is loosely fitted. Wear resistant resin members form tooth-shaped portions and slide surfaces which slide on the guide rail. Meshing portion of the sprocket which meshes with the tooth-shaped portions is formed of wear resistant resin. Contact pressure and friction in a slide portion between the belt and the slide portion is prevented from increasing in low temperature environments.

Conveying device and inspection system

A conveying device (100) and an inspection system (1000) are provided. The conveying device includes: a first support frame (1); a first conveying mechanism (2) and a second conveying mechanism (3) which are installed on the first support frame; and a switching mechanism (4) configured to selectively lift the first conveying mechanism or the second conveying mechanism in a vertical direction, such that the first conveying mechanism or the second conveying mechanism carries goods (401) and conveys the goods in a first horizontal direction or a second horizontal direction different from the first horizontal direction. The conveying device may achieve a positioning and a smooth continuous conveying of goods, and achieve a smooth conveying and a calibrated positioning of the goods in different postures.
