Board conveyor
A conveyor for transporting a board along a path in a transport direction has an upstream section, a downstream section aligned with the upstream section and defining therewith a horizontal support plane, and a center section between the upstream and downstream sections. The center section is movable from a pass-through position aligned and level with the upstream and downstream sections to an offset position spaced therefrom horizontally or vertically. A platform underneath the center section is moveable vertically, and a lift moves the platform vertically between upper and lower positions. Hooks or grab can, when the center section is in the offset position and the platform is in the lower position, either pull a board off the platform and onto the downstream section or guide and deposit a board from the upstream section onto the platform.

Adjustable conveyor belt guiderail and related methods
An apparatus for guiding products along a conveyor in a conveying direction. The apparatus includes a first guiderail for at least partially forming a conveying path for articles on the conveyor. A guiderail adjuster includes a flexible or collapsible support, which make take the form of a linkage, and which provides support for the first guiderail along the conveyor. The flexible or collapsible support is adapted for being extended and retracted along a support rail extending in the conveying direction to selectively position the first guiderail relative to the conveyor, and thereby alter (increase or decrease) the width of the conveying path. Related methods are also disclosed.

Transporting system for transporting products
A transport system includes a guide rail having a loop-wound pathway with straight portions and curved portions linking the straight portions. A carriage is movable along the guide rail, a first and a second shaft being mounted on the carriage transversely to the carriage movement direction. A first pair of rollers are mounted rotatably on the first shaft so that a first roller contacts the internal wall of the guide rail and a second roller contacts the external wall of the guide rail. A second pair of rollers mounted rotatably on the second shaft include a first roller in contact with the internal wall of the guide rail and a second roller in contact with the external wall. The first and the second shaft are mounted on the carriage for pivoting about an axis perpendicular to the carriage.

METHOD FOR WEAR DETECTION, AND CONVEYING SYSTEM WITH WEAR DETECTION
A method for wear detection during the operation of a conveying system having a closed circulating path, a pick-up which is attached to at least one running gear and which makes contact with a surface of a rail in the case of wear of the wheel and/or the rail, includes using a sensor coupled to the pick-up to register vibrations produced by the contact. The vibrations are transmitted wirelessly to a background system and are evaluated. The method and a conveying system allow wear detection, in particular in the case of closed conveying systems, and considerably reduce maintenance complexity.

Enclosed belt rail conveyor system
An enclosed belt conveyor system has a rail track (1) and spaced apart carriages (35) that run on wheels (40) supported by the trail track. A continuous carry belt (10) is supported by the carriages (35) and has an enclosed configuration where the carry belt (10) encloses a bulk material for transport by the system. One or more belt guides (45) are positioned along the rail track (1) and engage the continuous carry belt to maintain it in its enclosed configuration.
