SEAL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BOLTED TRACK USED IN CONVEYORIZED BAKING OVENS
A seal system and method for a bolted track such as a baking system conveyor track. The seal system provides a seal between a pair of track pieces being coupled end-to-end to one another. The seal system includes flanges attached near the ends of the track pieces and a gasket compressed between the flanges when the track pieces are coupled to form a seal. In example embodiments, the gasket is attached to a track plate. The track plate is coupled between the flanges and is configured to shield the gasket from heat and direct flame. The seal system optionally also includes a joint cover affixed to the bottom of the coupled flanges to form a secondary seal.
Rail Conveyor System with Vertical Carriage Return
The present invention provides a rail conveyor system of the type having a rail track (9) including a delivery run (1) extending between a loading end (5) and a discharge end (6) and a return run (12) extending from the discharge end (6) to the loading end (5), a plurality of carriages (8) spaced apart from one another and arranged to run on wheels (24) supported by the track (9), and a continuous carry belt (10) supported by the carriages (8); wherein, at least at the discharge end (6), the carriages (8) are turned around to return to the loading end (5) by being entrained around only one or more vertical turnover wheels (7) arranged such that the carriages (7) are delivered to the return run (12) beneath the delivery run (1).

RADIUS CONVEYOR WITH MAGNETIC BEARING
A radius conveyor comprising a sideflexing conveyor belt and a touchless magnetic bearing at the inside of a turn. The conveyor belt has electrically conductive elements in a side edge. An array of permanent magnets along the conveyor's side rail at the inside of the turn produces a permanent magnetic field. As the conveyor belt is driven through the turn, the permanent magnet field induces currents in the electrically conductive material. The currents produce reaction magnetic fields opposed to the permanent magnetic field that result in a radially outward force pushing the conveyor belt away from frictional contact with the side rail. Alternatively, permanent magnets in the side edge of the belt and electrically conductive elements in the conveyor's side rail likewise provide a magnetic bearing.
Thermoforming plant, transport system and thermoformed product produced therewith
The invention relates to thermoforming plant and their transport chains. Various aspects of the chain and chain rails are proposed. Overall the chain operates such that less wear occurs; it can also be cooled symmetrically and the film can be better heated up to the edges.
CONVEYING UNIT OF A TEXTILE MACHINE FOR CONVEYING TEXTILE MATERIAL
A conveying unit of a textile machine has an endless circulating and drivable conveying element, the conveying element having a conveying area on an outer side thereof to receive and convey textile material. Opposite side walls are disposed to hold the textile material in the conveying area in a transverse direction of the conveying element. A sealing device is arranged between each of the side walls and the conveying element such that an interior space enclosed by the conveying element is at least partially sealed with respect to the textile material. The sealing device includes a sealing element connected to the conveying element so as to extend transversely away from and above the outer side of the conveying element.

CASTER WHEEL ALIGNMENT SYSTEM FOR CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A caster wheel alignment system for selectively re-orienting improperly oriented caster wheels for transport vehicles of a conveyor system, such as a circular sorter. The alignment system includes a main support frame couplable with the conveyor at a drive track of the conveyor. The system includes a horizontal cam for adjusting an orientation of the caster wheel from a leading orientation to a trailing orientation. In some forms, the alignment system may include a bypass system, such as a float frame, supporting the horizontal cam, and a vertical cam. The vertical cam provided to temporarily move the float frame and horizontal cam away from the transport vehicle and/or drive track to permit the vehicle to move through the alignment system. The vertical and horizontal cams coordinate to intercept and correct improperly oriented wheels without significantly impeding the movement of the transport vehicle along the drive track.
