Apparatus and method for supporting and extracting a build part formed in an additive manufacturing process
An apparatus and method are provided for extracting a build part from an additive manufacturing machine. Upon completion of the build part by the additive manufacturing machine, a pin array is placed above the build part, the pin array including a plurality of pins slidably supported by a support plate for vertical movement relative to the support plate. The pin array is moved toward the build part so that the plurality of pins contact the build part and conform to the contour of the build part. The pins of the pin array are locked with the pins in contact with and conforming to the build part. The pin array and build part are inverted so that the build part is supported by the locked pins of the pin array. All of the pins of the array are locked simultaneously by a common locking component. The build plate can be formed on a sacrificial interposer plate that is removed by an etchant bath supported on the pin array when the build part is inverted.

The present invention relates to the carrot juice dispensers. A dispenser (1) comprises a frame structure (2): a bunker (3) configured to store carrots (11). The bunker (3) comprises a bunker floor (4) configured to move in reciprocating motion (B). The dispenser further comprises a step feeder (8) arranged to the bunker floor (4) and configured to collect carrots (11) from said bunker (3) and move collected carrots (11) upwards to a buffer zone gate (9). The buffer zone gate (9) is configured to hold at least one carrot (11) and release hold carrot (11) by opening the buffer zone gate (9). A gravity chute (10) configured to receive the carrot (11) from the buffer zone gate (9) and to slide said carrot (11) into a juicer (12). The juicer (12) is configured to extract a carrot juice from the carrot/-s (11) and dispense said carrot juice.

A system for loading elongated members, such as metal tubes and bars, onto a conveyor for later processing features an elevator, pusher arms, a support surface provided at a predetermined height, and gripper arms. The elevator acts to lift a topmost layer of the members, which are typically arranged in a stack thereon, to a predetermined height so that the pusher arms may transfer the members forming the topmost layer onto the support surface at this height. The pusher arms push these members across the support surface by engaging the member farthest from the support surface until the respective elongated member passes over a distal side of the support surface and onto the gripper arms arranged at a height of this side. The gripper arms lower that member to an unloading location below the support surface where an empty support cradle of the conveyor is arranged for receiving same.
