Raw material delivery devices and methods of operating the same
Raw material devices, systems that incorporate raw material delivery devices, and methods of supplying raw material using the raw material devices. A raw material delivery device includes a hollow body comprising a first end and a second end, the second end disposed above the first end in a system vertical direction, an inlet disposed at the first end of the hollow body, an outlet disposed at the second end of the hollow body, and a stepped passageway disposed within the hollow body between the inlet and the outlet. The stepped passageway is configured to deliver raw material via one or more steps from the inlet to the outlet.

The present application discloses vertical spiral conveyors for transporting loose material without the use of vibration or oscillation and methods of transporting materials without the use of vibration or oscillation. In certain embodiments, the vertical spiral conveyor comprises a vertical spiral fabrication having a spiral conveyor tray connected to a vertical member that is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation, a drive arm extending from the vertical spiral fabrication, and a drive system for rotating the vertical spiral fabrication about the axis of rotation. The drive system comprises a power source and a transmission coupled to the drive arm. The drive system generates alternating forward and backward strokes on the drive arm that rotate the vertical spiral fabrication clockwise and counterclockwise about the axis of rotation to cause loose material to be conveyed around the spiral conveyor tray.

Pneumatic impulse conveyor with radial motion bellows drive
A pneumatic impulse conveyor motor using opposed pairs of linear-activated bellows to reciprocate a drive plate. The drive plate is rotatably connected to an array of conveyor trays through a plurality of parallel spaced shafts to convert the linear motion of the bellows to a radial motion useful for reciprocating the array of conveyor trays.
Suspension system with horizontal elastic members
An exemplary suspension member for a reciprocating conveyor has a horizontally oriented resilient spring member, two bases, and a support. The spring member has a main body, two ends, and a center with a mounting portion. Each base has a retention portion for retaining an end of the spring member. The support supports a tray disposed on top of the mounting portion and has at least one support member extending downward to engage the mounting portion.

An exemplary suspension member for a reciprocating conveyor has a horizontally oriented resilient spring member, two bases, and a support.
