CONTINUOUSLY CIRCULATING CONTAINER CONVEYOR DEVICE IN A PACKAGING MACHINE
The invention relates to a container conveyor device (10) in a packaging machine having a container carrier (13) with a plurality of container receptacles (15). At least two rotary-driven linear conveyors (11, 28) are provided, and the container carrier (13) has at least one engagement part (14) which can be brought into engagement with the linear conveyors (11, 28). Two curved conveyors (20, 34) each have a curved guide track (21, 35) with which at least one projection of the container carrier (13) can be brought into engagement. A plurality of container carriers (13) can be transported along the upper linear conveyor (11) in a row with a mutual first spacing of less than 30 mm and at an average speed V0. The container carriers can be transported along the lower linear conveyor (28) with a mutual second spacing which is greater than the first spacing and at an average speed Vu, where V.sub.u1.5 V.sub.0.

Machine to produce twisted paper for loose fill packaging
A machine produces twisted paper for loose file packaging. The machine includes at least one auger to reduce a dimension, such as diameter, of paper as it is pulled from a roll. The material moves past the auger into a twisting assembly wherein the paper is twisted or rotated about a longitudinal axis of the machine inside a pipe or tube. The pipe or tube includes a cutout or interruption in the sidewall within which a wheel resides. The wheel grasps and advances the paper through the twisting assembly as it rotates. As the paper leaves the twisting assembly it is pulled or otherwise fed through an exist region and is cut into segments of small twisted pieces of paper. The twisted segments of paper are of suitable size for use as loose fill packaging.
DISH WASHING APPARATUS AND DISH DRYING APPRARTUS
A dishwashing apparatus for washing dishes having a circular rim or lip is disclosed The apparatus comprises a spray nozzle configured to spray a liquid onto a target zone; a first rod; a second rod; and a third rod; the first rod, second rod and third rod each having a screw thread on an outer surface and each being rotatable about a respective longitudinal axis; the first rod, second rod and third rod being arranged in a parallel configuration, at equal distances from a central axis, wherein the separation of each of the first rod, second rod and third rod from the central axis is configured or configurable to receive a plurality of dishes such that the screw thread on each of the rods engages with the circular rim or lip of the dishes and when the rods are rotated about their respective axes, the dishes are caused to move relative to the spray nozzle in the direction of the central axis and rotate as they pass through the target zone. A dish drying apparatus having an analogous arrangement of rods is also disclosed.

DIVIDER SYSTEM
A divider system for diverting objects from an infeed lane into one or more discharge lanes includes a dividing screw set, a discharge screw set, and a diverting mechanism. The dividing screw set conveys a sequence of objects to an output end of the screw set where the objects are divided by rotation of the dividing screw set and outputted alternately to first and second discharge screws of the discharge screw set to form a first series of objects conveyed by the first discharge screw and a second series of objects conveyed by the second discharge screw. The divider system includes a diverting mechanism which can be selectively actuated to divert objects from one discharge screw to the other discharge screw to form a diverted group.
