A modular transfer system with a primary flow system and a diverter system. The primary flow system includes a primary flow belt for conveying an article along a primary flow path from an infeed side of the modular transfer system to a pass-through side of the modular transfer system. The diverter system includes one or more diverter belts for diverting an article from the primary flow path towards a divert side of the modular transfer system. The primary flow belt includes multiple movable components contacting the diverter belt. The movable components can have one or more rotational degrees of freedom.

Modular conveying unit

A conveying unit for a superordinate conveying system for transporting goods on a transport plane. The conveying unit has transport rollers, drive devices, at least one adjustment apparatus and a control unit. The transport rollers rotate about axes at an actuatable rotational speed and with an actuatable direction of rotation. The drive device can be actuated to drive the transport rollers. The axes of rotation of the transport rollers can be actuated about their respective pivot axes by their own pivot axis angle and can be adjusted by rotation. The adjustment apparatus can be actuated to adjust the axes of rotation of the transport rollers about their respective pivot axes. The control unit actuates the conveying unit, and the conveying unit additionally has a connection apparatus for connecting the conveying unit to the superordinate conveying system.

FLEXIBLE AND SIMPLE TURNAROUND CARGO HANDLING ASSEMBLIES

A convertible cargo handling assembly may comprise a mat, a fitting, and a removable cargo handling component. The fitting may include a fixed component and a coupling component. The fixed component may be located in an opening defined by the mat. The removable cargo handling component may be located over the mat and removably coupled to the fixed portion of the fitting via a coupling between the coupling component and the fixed component.

QUICK-CONNECT FITTINGS FOR CONVERTIBLE CARGO HANDLING ASSEMBLIES

A quick-connect fitting for a convertible cargo handling assembly may comprise a fixed portion and a coupling component. The fixed portion may be secured to an aircraft frame structure. The coupling component may be coupled to a removable cargo handling component. The coupling component may be configured to rotate relative to the fixed portion.

HYGIENIC LOW-FRICTION MAGNETIC TRAY AND CONVEYOR
20200156875 · 2020-05-21 ·

A hygienic magnetic tray and conveyor. The low-profile tray includes a forcer sandwiched between an article-supporting top and an opposite bottom. The top is made of hygienic material, and the bottom can be made of a low-friction material. The tray is propelled along a guide surface on an enclosure housing stator coils supported in a conveyor frame. The stator forms a linear motor with the forcer in the tray. Roller balls protruding from the bottom of one version of the tray provide low-friction rolling contact with the guide surface. Various disposal systems provide escape routes for removing fluids and debris from the guide surface of the stator enclosure.

GUIDE MODULE FOR MAKING A MOVEMENT PLANE

Described is a guide module (1) for making a movement plane comprising: a rotation unit (20) rotatable about a longitudinal axis (Z); a ball (30) mounted on the rotation unit (20) by means of a respective actuation pin (31) rotatable relative to the rotation unit (20) about a transversal axis (X), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (Z), the transversal axis (X) being fixed relative to the rotation unit (20); a first actuator (52) acting on the rotation unit (20) for moving in an adjustable fashion the rotation unit (20) about the longitudinal axis (Z); and a second actuator (54) acting on the actuation pin (31) of the ball (30) for moving the ball (30) about the transversal axis (X).

Ball-belt conveyor with side discharge capability

A conveyor system includes an external ball-belt and an internal driver belt for driving balls in the ball-belt. A first drive drives the ball-belt in the longitudinal direction, and a second drive drives the driver belt in a transverse direction. The second drive is located outside the ball-belt and located such that a return portion of the ball-belt runs between the second drive and the driver belt.

ROLLER BALL ASSEMBLY WITH SUPERHARD ELEMENTS

A roller ball assembly is provided. The assembly includes a primary roller ball supported by a support element that is composed of a superhard material. The assembly includes a cup defining a cavity within which the support element is positioned. A cap is coupled with the cup and positioned to retain the primary roller ball within the cavity. Also, a cup is disclosed for supporting roller balls. Additionally, disclosed are system and apparatus incorporating the assembly, as well as to methods of making and using the same.

Roller belt conveyor
