Bearing and bearing protector apparatus and methods
Bearing and bearing protector with improved performance characteristics, reduced material use, lower cost of manufacturing and maintenance. Bearing protector includes air permeable element (e.g., wool, felt) that is configured to allow passage of air while preventing dust and other particulars from entering the bearing thereby improving bearing operation and longevity. Felt may be impregnated with a lubrication fluid to provide additional lubrication and protection. A self-lubricating bearing (SLB) is manufactured from an engineering plastic and is fitted with integrated bearing protector. The self-lubricating bearing includes one or more linear groves. When fitted onto an axle, the groves may receive excess plastic material that may occur during thermal expansion of the bearing during operation due to friction and heating. Plastic material may include an antifiction agent and the groves may be packed with consistent lubricant in order to reduce friction and improve performance.
Roller and locking method thereof
The present disclosure provides a roller and a locking method thereof. The roller includes a main body, a first groove provided on an inner surface of the main body, and a first elastic component fitted with the first groove; wherein a through hole for receiving and fixing a shaft is provided on the first elastic component. The present disclosure can be used to lock shafts.

BALL TRANSFER AND SEAL MEMBER FOR BALL TRANSFER EMPLOYING PILE SEAL MEMBER
To provide a ball transfer and a seal member for a ball transfer, a seal member is employed which is characterized in that it has a seal member employing pile fiber that, at a ball transfer having a main body which has a socket, an inner surface of which is a hemispherical concave surface, a plurality of ball bearings arranged at the main exterior socket, a primary ball, diameter of which is greater than that of said ball bearings and which is rotatably supported by the socket by way of the ball bearings, and a housing-like case which surrounds the main body socket and rotatably supports the ball bearings and the primary ball at a bearing portion thereof and which has a hole from which a portion of the primary ball is made to protrude at an upper surface of the primary ball socket.
SEALING ARRANGEMENT FOR IDLER ROLLERS USED IN WEIGHING ROLLER BELTS
Disclosed in one example is an idler roller for a conveyor belt weighing system, comprising a static shaft, and a load cell fixed to the static shaft and positioned at least partially internal to the static shaft and at an end of the static shaft, the load cell for supporting the idler roller on a frame. A rotating shaft seal is positioned on an exterior surface of the static shaft and internal to the idler roller. A static seal is positioned between the load cell and an interior surface of the static shaft. The static shaft includes a first pocket into which the load cell is inserted and fixed, the static shaft also includes a second pocket into which the load cell is inserted and fixed. The load cell includes one or more strain gauges, and the load cell is rigidly fixed in the end of the static shaft.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods of mounting a roller of a conveyor
A conveyor is described. The conveyor includes: a conveyor frame having a sidewall and a roller. In some examples, the roller can be mounted on the conveyor frame so that a first portion of the roller extends beyond the sidewall of the conveyor frame. In this regard, the first portion of the roller is the portion that includes a bearing assembly of the roller and the sidewall is that portion of the conveyor frame that guards a conveying surface of the conveyor. The conveyor also includes a strip belt-mounted over a second portion of the roller. The second portion is a portion of the roller that is defined adjacent to the first portion of the roller. In some examples, the strip belt is mounted over the roller so that the strip belt is positioned adjacent to the sidewall on the conveyor.
