EXTENDABLE AND RETRACTABLE CONVEYOR
An extendable and retractable conveyor comprises a hopper for receiving agricultural product a housing having an inlet and an outlet that are separated by a fixed distance, the inlet being adjacent to the hopper for receiving the agricultural product from the hopper. The conveyor may include a belt conveyor disposed within the housing for conveying the agricultural product from the inlet to the outlet, the conveyor defining a direction of conveyance. The conveyor further includes a hood connected to the outlet for deflecting the agricultural product relative to the direction of conveyance. The conveyor further includes a movable spout that is slidably connected to the tube and disposed beneath the hood to receive the agricultural product from the hood, the movable spout being slidable in a direction parallel to the direction of conveyance to thereby extend or retract the conveyor.
Flow control for bottom dump pneumatic material handling
A material handling system includes a chassis, a conveyor system supported by the chassis, a pneumatic conveying system supported by the chassis and a storage container supported by the chassis. The conveyor system is configured to convey a granular material from a material unloading station to an inlet of the storage container. Multiple pods are beneath the storage container. Each pod is connected to the storage container by a corresponding pod fill line. A pneumatic conveying line is beneath the pods. The pneumatic conveying line is connected to each of the pods. Each pod has a full level sensor configured to sense when the pod is full or close to full, and an empty level sensor configured to sense when the pod is empty or close to empty.
Systems and methods for large debris conveyance
A device for sorting particulate material includes a main conveyor belt, a separation screen, a graded material conveyor, and an oversize material conveyor. The separation screen is configured to separate the material into a first portion and a second portion with a larger average particle diameter than the first portion. The graded material conveyor is positioned below the separation screen to receive the first portion of the material, and the oversize material conveyor is positioned at an end of the separation screen to receive the second portion of the material.
Multi-sectioned boom concrete conveyor assembly having hinged
A portable multi-sectioned boom concrete conveyor assembly includes a main conveyor boom section and a distal conveyor boom section. The distal conveyor boom section is hinged, relative to the main conveyor boom section, so that the distal conveyor boom section can be adjusted in order to provide concrete to a desired location.
Apparatuses and methods for unloading particulate material from a bottom discharge chute of a source receptacle to an elevated inlet of a destination receptacle
A swing auger towable by a tractor features a main auger, and a feed auger pivotally coupled to the main auger and reaching transversely outward therefrom. One or more additional conveyors each are positioned alongside the tractor with the discharge of the conveyor(s) feeding into the feed auger, and with the conveyor hopper positioned longitudinally forward of the tractor under the bottom discharge of the trailer or other source receptacle. A stabilizing device for the main auger doubles as a lift arm for elevating the conveyor in a transport position, and may be installed with a tandem axle that compensates for angular frame variation in the working position of the main auger. Alternatively, a novel auger frame is pivotally coupled to the inlet end of the main auger, remains at a consistent angle regardless of the main auger's position, and is equipped with a hitch connector and rear stabilizer arms.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING ARTICLES AND AN APPARATUS FOR DOING THE SAME
A conveyor for transporting and elevating articles and a method and system for conveying articles up inclines is provided. The conveyor has a conveyor belt and a plurality of support elements extending outward from the article-conveying surface of the conveyor belt advancing upward along the incline. The conveyor may be positioned at an inclined angle relative to the horizontal ground, i.e., between about 5° and 85° or the conveyor can be substantially vertical, i.e., about 90° relative to the horizontal ground. The support elements prevent conveyed articles from sliding down the conveyor belt on the inclined conveyor and carry and hold articles on substantially vertical conveyors. The article-conveying surface of the conveyor belt may provide a low-friction retention surface to articles leaning away from the conveyor belt on the incline.
System for processing fruit or vegetable products of the type of blueberries and the like
A system for processing fruit or vegetable products of the type of blueberries and the like, includes a first unit, in its turn having in series at least one loading station, at least one pre-sizing station, at least one pre-selection station and at least one first alignment station. The system further includes a second unit, in its turn having in series at least one second alignment station, at least one optical sizing station and at least one distribution station. Each of the first unit and the second unit has dimensions and space occupation compatible with its accommodation and transport in a single container.
Axle-integrated movement sensing apparatus for conveyors
A conveyor system may include a conveyor belt and a conveyor support structure supporting the belt which includes a support truss structure extending between ends of the conveyor support structure. The system may also include a pair of wheels and an axle assembly configured to rotatably support the wheels on the support truss structure. The axle assembly may include an elongated axle housing with opposite ends each having a said wheel of the pair of wheels rotatably mounted thereon, the axle housing having an interior, and a hub rotatably mounted on each of the ends of the axle housing with each hub having one of the wheels mounted thereon. The system may include a rotation detection assembly for detecting rotation of at least one wheel and being integrated with the axle assembly and at least partially positioned within the interior of the axle housing.
