METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING ARTICLES AND AN APPARATUS FOR DOING THE SAME
A conveyor for transporting and elevating articles and a method and system for conveying articles up inclines is provided. The conveyor has a conveyor belt and a plurality of support elements extending outward from the article-conveying surface of the conveyor belt advancing upward along the incline. The conveyor may be positioned at an inclined angle relative to the horizontal ground, i.e., between about 5° and 85° or the conveyor can be substantially vertical, i.e., about 90° relative to the horizontal ground. The support elements prevent conveyed articles from sliding down the conveyor belt on the inclined conveyor and carry and hold articles on substantially vertical conveyors. The article-conveying surface of the conveyor belt may provide a low-friction retention surface to articles leaning away from the conveyor belt on the incline.
Conveyor stockpile desegregation systems, methods and apparatus
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for creating an at least partially desegregated stockpile. In some embodiments the stockpile comprises one or more windrows. In some embodiments an operating speed (e.g., belt speed) of the conveyor is varied to create windrows at various distances from the conveyor.
Mobile machine for handling aggregate material having a movable component carrier above a conveyor line
A mobile machine for conveying and/or processing mineral aggregate material, includes a machine frame and a conveyor module supported on the machine frame so as to be displaceable relative to the latter. A conveyor line runs along a virtual conveyor path (FB), the conveyor module being designed at least for conveying the aggregate material along the conveyor path on the conveyor line. A component carrier in a working state of the machine runs in an elevation direction (H) at a distance from the conveyor line crosswise with respect to the conveyor path above the conveyor line. The component carrier supports at least one functional module which interacts with the aggregate material conveyed on the conveyor line. The conveyor module is displaceable relative to the machine frame with a displacement component in the elevation direction. The component carrier is movable both relative to the conveyor module and the machine frame.
Multi-sectioned boom conveyor assembly having hinged telescoping boom section
A portable multi-sectioned boom conveyor assembly includes a main conveyor boom section and a distal conveyor boom section. The distal conveyor boom section is hinged, relative to the main conveyor boom section, so that the distal conveyor boom section can be adjusted in order to provide material to a desired location.
Feeder assembly for delivering material to a main boom assembly
A feeder assembly can be mounted on a platform such as a transport vehicle that includes a main boom assembly for moving material at a destination site. The main boom assembly is both telescoping and rotatable about a rotatable mount on the platform. The feeder assembly is mounted on the platform and can be raised from a transport position in which the feeder assembly lays horizontally on the platform, adjacent the rotatable mount, to a raised and angled position that allows the feeder assembly to convey construction material from a feed hopper at the rear of the feeder assembly to a feed point of the main boom assembly.
Foldable conveyor with deployable skirting
A conveyor comprises a first conveyor section and a second conveyor section that is foldable with respect to the first conveyor section. Skirting is movable into and out of a deployed state in which it extends along the second conveyor section. A skirting support is coupled to the skirting and is movable into and out of a deployed state in which it holds the skirting in the deployed state. Actuating device is provided for moving the skirting support. The skirting is deformable or foldable so that it does not have to be removed or fitted when the conveyor is folded or deployed, and is less susceptible to damage.

A cold planer can include a frame; a milling assembly including a drum housing and a cutting rotor located within the drum housing, the drum housing including a discharge port; a primary conveyor coupled to the frame, wherein the primary conveyor is positioned near the discharge port so as to receive material through the discharge port; a secondary conveyor positioned to receive material off an end of the primary conveyor; a sensor associated with the secondary conveyor to sense a load on the secondary conveyor; and a controller configured to receive information from the sensor regarding the load and to control a speed of the secondary conveyor based on the information.
System and Method for Bulk Transfer-Based Container Unloading
A system for unloading items from a container includes: a movable chassis configured for deployment into an open end of the container, to a selectable depth within the container; a conveyor supported by the movable chassis, the conveyor configured to extend from an input end positioned within the container according to the selectable depth to a output end external to the container; and a bulk transfer assembly supported by the movable chassis at the selectable depth and an adjustable height, the bulk transfer assembly including: (i) a feeder configured to engage with the items and displace a portion of the items towards the conveyor, and (ii) a collector configured to receive and direct the displaced items to the input end of the conveyor for transport to the output end of the conveyor.
AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT AND RAMP ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
An agricultural implement for mounting on a U-shaped foundation frame supported on wheels for travel over a ground surface where the foundation frame includes first and second laterally spaced mounting beams fixed to and extending from a base. The implement is configured to perform an agricultural operation, to rest on the ground surface when in an idle position, and to attach to the foundation frame when in an operating position. The implement comprises a rigid implement portion configured to be attached to the first and second mounting beams at first and second beam locations remote from the base such that the first and second mounting beams are prevented from moving laterally with respect to each other.
Radial stacking conveyor system with feeder
A device conveying a solid material into a radially-arranged stockpile. The device has a a trailer chassis, with at least one wheeled axle at a first end thereof and, at a second end thereof, means provided for attaching the trailer chassis to a tractor in a mobile condition and for fixed mounting in an operational condition. A stacking conveyor is mounted near the first end of the trailer chassis. A power unit for generating electrical and hydraulic power is positioned on the trailer chassis. A feed system is mounted to the trailer chassis and extends generally along the length thereof from the second end to the first end, to receive the solid material at the second end and transport the solid material to the stacking conveyor.
