Conveyor system
A conveyor system for transferring a transport item between a transport unit and a loading area or an unloading belt of a baggage handling conveyor system in an airport. The conveyor system comprises a rail assembly for placement adjacent the unloading belt, and one or more transfer conveyors for placement on the rail assembly. The rail assembly comprises a guide rail, and a base for mounting said rail assembly on a building floor extending. The transfer conveyor comprises a transfer conveyor belt for supporting the transport item. The transfer conveyor is slidable mounted on the guide rail for sliding the one or more transfer conveyors along the guide rail.
STATIONS FOR TREATING MOTOR-VEHICLE BODIES AND/OR MOTOR-VEHICLE COMPONENTS
A station for treating motor-vehicle bodies and/or components may include: a booth including at least one entrance for a motor-vehicle body and/or component and at least one exit for the motor-vehicle body and/or component; a system configured to move the motor-vehicle body and/or component between the at least one entrance and the at least one exit; at least one robot configured to treat the motor-vehicle body and/or component in the booth by spraying fluid toward the motor-vehicle body and/or component; and a platform inside the booth configured to support the motor-vehicle body and/or component. The system may be configured to rotate with the platform so as to align with the at least one entrance in order to receive the motor-vehicle body and/or component, and so as to align with the at least one exit in order to release the motor-vehicle body and/or component. The booth may have an octagonal shape.
CLOTH SPREADING APPARATUS
A cloth spreading apparatus has a spread the remainder of a piece of cloth to smooth out every wrinkle, without requiring a dedicated assistant worker, including: a conveyor belt receiving an upper side portion of a piece of cloth having been spread in a right-left direction, pulls the upper side portion rearward, sequentially pulls up the remainder from a middle to a lower side portion, and ejects the entire cloth rearward. Also, a wrinkle smoothing unit that smooths out wrinkles in the remainder while the conveyor belt pulls up the remainder. The wrinkle smoothing unit has a pair of wrinkle smoothing clamps that clamp right and left side portions of the remainder being pulled up by the conveyor belt, and wrinkle smoothing clamp moving mechanisms that move the clamps upward and apart from each other in the right-left direction while the cloth is pulled up by the conveyor belt.

The present invention relates to a device for transferring objects (1) of an installation comprising at least two lines each comprising an upstream machine (2) being a blower, filler, or labeller machine, an intermediate machine (3) being a film-wrapping or boxing machine, and a palletizer (4) downstream. The transfer device comprises, for each line, at least one linear stator (5), a plurality of carriages (7), each provided with a means (8) for holding at least one object (1), and each secured to the rotor (6) configured to move along one of said linear stators (5) according to the principle of a linear motor. The transfer device also comprises at least one switch (9), configured to allow a choice between a transfer limited to one and the same line, and a transfer with change of line. The present invention relates also to a method for transferring objects implementing a device according to the invention.
