Transport Container for a Sorting Device
The invention relates to a transport container (4) for a sorting device (1), which can be moved along a conveying path (2), comprising a support frame (6), wherein at least one support tray (8, 10) is rotatably mounted on the support frame, in particular a first support tray (8) and a second support tray (10) following the first support tray (8) in the conveying direction (A) of the transport container (4), wherein the at least one support tray (8, 10) can be rotationally moved by a control device (12) between a substantially horizontal transport position (P1) for transporting a load (L) and a substantially vertical tilt position (P2) for depositing the load (L), wherein the control device (12) has a control lever (14, 16) connected to the support tray, in particular a first control lever (14) connected to the first support tray (8) and a second control lever (16) connected to the second support tray (10), wherein the control lever (14, 16), in particular the respective first control lever (14) and/or second control lever (16), is arranged in the transport position (P1) and/or the tilt position (P2) in a top dead centre position forming a locking position.
COMPACT SORTER
A sorting conveyor system comprising a main sorting conveyor sorting packages directly into destination receptacles or first onto discharge sorting conveyors and further onto other destination receptacles. Multi-destination discharge chutes service two or more destination receptacles. Package detectors detect packages delivered to the destination receptacles to help identify packages sorted to the wrong destination receptacles.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING UNITS OF GOODS INTO AND OUT OF CONVEYOR UNITS OF A SUSPENDED CONVEYER SYSTEM
A device for transferring units of goods has a suspended conveyor system on which conveyor units can be conveyed in a suspended manner along a continuous conveyor path. In an entry region, supplied conveyor units can be provided for further processing. Downstream of said entry region, a transfer device is provided in a transfer region, with which units of goods can be transferred into and/or out of a conveyor unit located in the transfer region. Downstream of said transfer region, processed conveyor units can be provided in an exit region for further use. The absolute alignment in space of a conveyor unit in the entry region and in the transfer region are substantially the same, and the relative alignment in relation to the conveying direction in the entry region and the transfer region are substantially different. Alternatively or additionally, the absolute alignment in space of a conveyor unit in the transfer region and in the exit region are substantially the same, and the relative alignment in relation to the conveying direction in the transfer region and in the exit region are substantially different.

Systems and methods for distributing induction of objects to a plurality of object processing systems
An induction system is disclosed for filtering the induction of objects to a plurality of object processing systems. The induction system includes an evaluation means for evaluating at least one characteristic of an object, and routing means for routing the object in one of a plurality of directions responsive to the evaluated characteristic, at least one of the plurality of directions leading to a selected one of the plurality of object processing systems.
Article conveyance apparatus
An article conveyance apparatus includes a carriage which travels along a predetermined travel path, and an on-ground facility including a pair of traveling rails which define the travel path. The carriage includes a first slider which operates according to magnetic action to drive a transfer mechanism, and a drive transmission mechanism which supports the first slider and transmits a driving force from the first slider to the transfer mechanism. The on-ground facility includes a first stator which applies magnetic action to the first slider in the carriage to operate the first slider. The first stator includes an opening through which the drive transmission mechanism of the carriage passes. The opening is disposed in a position such that the inside of the first stator is not seen from the opening in top view of the first stator.

Article transport vehicle
A swing arm changes a position of a placement surface of a placement body between a horizontal position and a tilted position by swinging between a reference position at which the swing arm extends along an opposing surface facing a lower surface of the placement body and a standing position at which the swing arm is tilted relative to the opposing surface. The opposing surface is provided with a guide member configured to guide swinging movement of the swing arm, and the guide member is configured to support the swing arm by sandwiching the swing arm from both sides in an axial direction within a prescribed guide range including the reference position in a total swing range of the swing arm.
