Method and system for wrapping ties in a facemask manufacturing process
An automated system and method wrap the fastening ties around the body of a continuous stream of facemasks in a facemask production line. The facemasks are oriented such that each facemask has a leading pair of ties and a trailing pair of ties extending from a body in a conveying direction of the production line. At a wrapping station in the production line, the body is subsequently clamped with a clamping device of an automated robotic arm. The robotic arm is driven in the conveying direction while rotating the clamping device and body relative to a rotation axis through the body to cause the leading and trailing pairs of ties to wrap around the body. The robotic arm then deposits the facemask with wrapped ties onto the conveyor.
OBJECT CONVEYING AND/OR SORTING SYSTEM
An object conveying system is provided. The system comprises guide plate (10) having at least one channel (11) for conveying an object (0) between a first end (11a) and second end (11b) of the corresponding channel (11). Each channel (11) comprises a first aperture (121) provided at a first longitudinal position thereof (P1).The system further comprises an object measurement unit (13) for conducting an optical measurement associated with a property of the object via the first aperture (121) when the object passes the first aperture (121) towards the second end (11b). At least one ejector unit (14) is arranged to eject the object conveyed on the corresponding channel when reaching a second longitudinal position (P2, P2) located downstream of the first aperture (121) based on the measured property of the object and a timing signal associated with a conveying velocity of the object being conveyed along the channel (11).
Method and System for Wrapping Ties in a Facemask Manufacturing Process
An automated system and method wrap the fastening ties around the body of a continuous stream of facemasks in a facemask production line. The facemasks are oriented such that each facemask has a leading pair of ties and a trailing pair of ties extending from a body in a conveying direction of the production line. At a wrapping station in the production line, the body is subsequently clamped with a clamping device of an automated robotic arm. The robotic arm is driven in the conveying direction while rotating the clamping device and body relative to a rotation axis through the body to cause the leading and trailing pairs of ties to wrap around the body. The robotic arm then deposits the facemask with wrapped ties onto the conveyor.
METHOD FOR UNBLOCKING THE MOVEMENT OF HOLLOW BODIES IN A CHUTE CONVEYOR
Disclosed is a method for unblocking the movement of hollow bodies travelling in a line in a conveyor, including: a guiding chute in which each hollow body is intended to take up a freely suspended position; a component for continuously driving hollow bodies into the chute in a direction of movement; a hollow body being likely to take up a position in which it is stuck against a stationary surface of a member that complements the chute and thus to block the movement of the hollow bodies that build up behind same. The method includes an unblocking step which consists of applying an unblocking pulse to the hollow bodies of the blocked line against the direction of movement in order to move the blocking hollow body away from the stationary surface and to allow the blocking hollow body to swivel into the freely suspended position thereof in the chute.
Diverting apparatus with Coanda stabilizing device
The apparatus for diverting objects such as containers, bundles, packages, which are conveyed on a transport apparatus, comprises a first transport device, on which the objects are transported in a single row, a second transport device, which is arranged to the side of the first transport device, and a diverting device, which is provided on one side of the transport apparatus and by means of which an object to be diverted is diverted from the first transport device onto the second transport device. The apparatus furthermore comprises a rail, which is provided on a side of the transport apparatus situated opposite the diverting device, and a device for generating an air jet, wherein the device for generating the air jet is configured such that the air jet which is generated runs parallel to the rail.
DIVERTING APPARATUS WITH COANDA STABILIZING DEVICE
The apparatus for diverting objects such as containers, bundles, packages, which are conveyed on a transport apparatus, comprises a first transport device, on which the objects are transported in a single row, a second transport device, which is arranged to the side of the first transport device, and a diverting device, which is provided on one side of the transport apparatus and by means of which an object to be diverted is diverted from the first transport device onto the second transport device. The apparatus furthermore comprises a rail, which is provided on a side of the transport apparatus situated opposite the diverting device, and a device for generating an air jet, wherein the device for generating the air jet is configured such that the air jet which is generated runs parallel to the rail.
Object conveying and/or sorting system
A method is disclosed for sorting a plurality of objects including an object that is one of a grain, a nut, a tree nut, or a bean. The plurality objects are conveyed along a guide plate having at least two channels between a first end and a second end of the corresponding channel. The channels have a first aperture provided at a first longitudinal position thereof and an additional aperture provided at a second longitudinal position on the guide plate located downstream of the first aperture. An optical measurement associated with a property of the object of the plurality of objects is conducted when the object passes the first aperture towards the second end with an object measurement unit. The object conveyed on the corresponding channel is ejected with an ejector unit when reaching the second longitudinal position based on the measured property of the object and a timing signal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS USED TO HANDLE NON-UPRIGHT ARTICLES OF AN ARTICLE STREAM UNDER PREVENTION OF DISTURBANCES
The invention includes a method (100) and an apparatus to handle irregularly conveyed and/or irregularly aligned and/or non-upright articles of an article stream under prevention of disturbances. The method (100) comprises the following steps: identifying at least one non-upright article in an article stream as an error; performing a correction step to resolve the error, the correction step comprising removal from the article stream of the at least one irregularly aligned article, or transfer to an upright orientation of the at least one irregularly aligned article, with a defined action being exerted temporally before and/or in temporal overlap with the correction step upon the at least one irregularly aligned article or upon regularly conveyed articles of the article stream.

Apparatus and method for transferring a substrate are disclosed. The substrate transfer apparatus includes: a substrate conveyance assembly disposed between a mechanical arm and a wafer stage, the substrate conveyance assembly including a substrate loading conveyor and a substrate unloading conveyor parallelly arranged in a first direction, each of the substrate loading conveyor and the substrate unloading conveyor configured for transferring a substrate between the wafer stage and the mechanical arm along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; an integral frame; and a transition air suspension assembly fixed to the integral frame at the end thereof proximal to the wafer stage, the transition air suspension assembly being able to engage with either of the substrate loading conveyor and the substrate unloading conveyor for producing an air film to levitate the substrate during the conveyance of the substrate by the substrate loading conveyor or the substrate unloading conveyor.
CONVEYING FACILITY
A conveying facility with a feed conveying device, a take-over conveying device and a control device, for transferring horizontally or lying conveyed goods from the feed conveying device to the take-over conveying device, wherein the conveying facility forms a transfer region, in which the conveyed goods are transferred from the feed conveying device to the take-over conveying device. The conveying facility includes a transfer assistance device which is designed to act in the transfer region by way of pressurised gas from below onto at least one conveyed good being moved past.
