UNJAMMING SYSTEM FOR PRODUCT FEEDERS
An unjamming system is used in connection with mass-produced parts fed through a process by a rotating bowl feeder. The bowl feeder has a bowl with an axis of rotation and an outer wall. The parts are disposed against the outer wall by centrifugal force. The unjamming system includes a jamming region adjacent the bowl, wherein unjamming is carried out. A sensor adjacent the jamming region detects a jam. A pneumatic cylinder actuator and an air blow jet adjacent the jamming region removes the parts from the jam. The parts are returned to the bowl by the air blow jet.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INFEEDING PRODUCTS
A device and a method for infeeding products (10), wherein the device comprises at least one infeed (12) which infeeds products (10) to a transportation system (20), and comprises at least one sensor (28) for identifying products (10) which are backed up, wherein at least one ejection means (14, 16) for removing at least one product (10) which is located and backed up on the infeed (12) is provided.

Time-varying control of a controllable air stream
Time-varying control of a controllable air stream is disclosed, including: a set of image sensors configured to capture image data showing a target object being conveyed by a conveyor device along a Y-direction; an array of air jets located along an X-direction, wherein the X-direction crosses the Y-direction; and a processor configured to: receive the image data from the set of image sensors; determine a classification of the target object within the image data; and modify a two-dimensional firing polygon of air to be directed by the array of air jets on the target object based at least in part on the classification of the target object; and wherein the array of air jets is configured to perform a sorting operation on the target object as the target object is translated across the array of air jets based at least in part on the modified two-dimensional firing polygon.
Material handling device
A material handling device (1), including: a conveying mechanism (10), the conveying mechanism comprising a first conveying platform (11) and a second conveying platform (12) that are coplanar and arranged side by side, the first conveying platform being provided with a feeding position (101), the second conveying platform being provided with a discharging position (102), the conveying speed of the second conveying platform being greater than the conveying speed of the first conveying platform; and a screening mechanism provided between the feeding position and the discharging position. The material handling device provided in the present application conveys workpieces by means of the first conveying platform and second conveying platform that are coplanar and arranged side by side.
APPARATUS FOR THE ALIGNMENT AND ORIENTATION OF PLASTIC PREFORMS
An apparatus for the orientation and alignment of plastic preforms provided with collars having greater dimensions than the preform body, includes a device for feeding the preforms at a first end of an unloading and conveyance surface that includes a conveyor device for conveying the preforms from the first end towards a second end, the conveyor device includes a slot formed by a pair of longitudinal movement bodies which move the preforms along a direction of longitudinal extension of the slot. The conveyor device includes at least one conveyor element which forms a resting surface for the preforms and is adapted to move the preforms arranged on the resting surface along a movement direction, which is opposite to the conveyance direction, in order to move the preforms not received by the slot from the second end toward the first end.
Pneumatic conveyance jet diverter
Methods, systems, and apparatus are disclosed herein for a pneumatic conveyance jet diverter that uses air jets to divert pneumatically conveyed objects to one of various selectable outlets. The example methods, systems, and apparatus are configured direct objects from an inlet to a desired outlet without the use of mechanical components such as an internal flap or gate. Rather, the pneumatic conveyance jet diverter uses an air jet to push or blow objects to a selected outlet.
Sorting device and method for using a sorting device
The invention provides a device for sorting products. The facility includes sorting units that each are provided with a support surface and transport means for endless movement transport route transporting the sorting units. The sorting units include sorting means for the sideways at a desired sorting location of the supporting surface of the relevant one moving the sorting unit away from a product, and control means for controlling the sorting device. The device further comprises stationary removing means wherein the control means are further adapted to supply control signals to the removing means for, due to the effectiveness of the removal means, at a removal location of an associated one sorting unit removes any products that cannot pass through the associated sorting equipment sorting unit have been moved off and have been unintentionally left on a sorting unit. The invention provides further removing means for use in such a device as well as a method for use of such a device.
Medication container air sorting system and apparatus
A system and apparatus for a medication container sorting apparatus by air sort station is disclosed. The container sorting apparatus includes a transport mechanism, a bumper rail, an air nozzle, a valve, and a sensor. As medication containers pass by an air nozzle on the transport mechanism, the air nozzle blows air towards the containers to push those with a closed end facing the air nozzle towards an opposite side of the transport mechanism. A bumper rail is used to prevent the medication container from falling off of the transport mechanism.
