Transfer device, conveyor system including a transfer device and method of transferring conveyed products
A transfer device (19), comprising a carrier (21) including a number of mutually spaced-apart, substantially parallel extending transfer fingers (22) that in use reach into grooves (14) between ribs (13) on a conveying surface of a grooved conveyor belt (2). Back parts (23) of the fingers form a comb shaped part (24) of a substantially planar slide-over surface (25) of the transfer device. The carrier further includes a conveyor guide track (26) that is lowered with respect to the slide over surface and that extends transversely to the fingers, and that in use is provided with a cross conveyor belt (6) movable in a conveying direction transversely to the fingers, so that a conveying surface (9) of the cross conveyor belt forms a conveying part (27) of the slide-over surface that is substantially contiguous to and flush with the comb shaped part (24). At a side opposite to the fingers the carrier further includes a hinge connection (29) extending transversely to the fingers, and being spaced apart from the fingers. Further, the carrier includes support surfaces that in is use are supported on the grooved conveyor belt.

CONVEYOR SPACER GUARD
A guard for a conveyor assembly, with the conveyor assembly having a pair of spaced apart side frames and at least a pair of adjacent conveyor zones, with each conveyor zone comprising a pair of rollers about which a conveyor belt is disposed with the rollers of the zones mounted between the side frames and a gap formed between the conveyor zones. The guard has an elongate lower portion configured to mount between the side frames in the gap, with the lower portion having a mounting receptacle configured to receive a connector for mounting the guard between the side frames. The guard also includes at least one elongate outwardly angled side extending upwards from the lower portion to a top surface, with the angled side configured to be disposed adjacent one of the rollers of one of the conveyor zones.

Transfer Guard System and Mount Thereof
In one aspect, a transfer guard system is provided for transferring objects across a gap between conveying surfaces of a conveyor. The transfer guard system includes an elongate mounting member and at least one transfer guard member connected to the mounting member. The transfer guard system includes at least one mount having a receiver that receives the mounting member. The at least one mount includes a plurality of link members and at least one pivot connection between the link members. The at least one pivot connection permits the mounting member receiver to be pivoted along an arcuate path within the gap to position the receiver at a predetermined position in the gap. The at least one mount further includes at least one locking member operable to fix the link members relative to one another and secure the mounting member receiver at the predetermined position in the gap.

Relay device
Provided is a relay device capable of moving objects to be conveyed from a conveying section of a continuous conveying system to a conveying section of an intermittent conveying system in various modes. The relay device includes: a first conveying section that conveys the objects to be conveyed, continuously in a forward direction in a first direction; a second conveying section that transfers a plurality of assembly sections intermittently in the forward direction in the first direction; a relay conveying section provided between the first conveying section and the second conveying section; and a relay driving section that moves the relay conveying section in the first direction. The relay driving section moves the relay conveying section in the forward direction in the first direction, at the same speed as a speed at which the plurality of objects are conveyed in the forward direction of the first direction by the first conveying section, at least while the first pusher moves the plurality of objects in the forward direction of the second direction.
