Conveyor glide plate

Conveyor glide plates inserted between conveyor rollers provide support between the rollers. The glide plate main body includes forward and rear flexible flaps forming a leading edge and a trailing edge extending from the main body which includes an attachment member for cooperatively engaging a conveyor roller support member such as a clip or bracket used to affix the rollers to the conveyor. The front portion of the forward distal end of the glide plate includes a concave curve extending from the leading edge downward forming a turned-up lip extending from the main body of the glide plate following the adjacent roller. A rear flap having a distal end angled downward slightly at the trailing edge extends toward a following roller or following glide plate. The width of the glide plate is selected based on the width of the conveyor or length of the roller.

MICRO-TRANSFER CONVEYOR

A transfer conveyor for transferring conveyed items between two main conveyors, each having a flexible conveying surface reeved about an end sprocket that is large with respect to the conveyed items. The transfer conveyor includes a deck having two ends, each having a nose bar. At least one tensioning idler wheel is slidably mounted to the transfer conveyor frame, and a drive wheel is rotatably mounted to the frame. A transfer conveyor belt is routed about the drive wheel, over the tensioning idler wheel, over the deck, and back to the drive wheel. A dead plate is positioned between one of the nose bars and one of the main conveyors, at a level even with the top of the belt. The deck is expandable, formed of two interlaced finger plates, each having a respective nose bar at one end and finger(s) extending away from the nose bar.

Low Profile Transfer Conveyor for Use with Conveyor Systems

The low profile transfer conveyor bridges gaps between terminal ends of contiguous multi segment conveyors and provides a driven belt bridge with a length that approximately bridges the space between the flat surfaces of conveyor belt segments of the multi segment conveyors and has a low profile which minimizes any unsupported distance across which articles must cross between conveyor belt segments by providing a small continuous section of driven conveyor belt traversing a flat surface bounded on two sides by small radius edges so the transfer conveyor edges extend almost to the flat surface of the belt segments on opposite sides of the gap that it bridges. At its ends, the belt of the transfer conveyor is driven by one or more drive pulleys.

In one aspect, a transfer guard member having a body for being positioned in a gap intermediate conveying surfaces, an upper portion of the body for spanning the gap and outer portions of the upper body for slidingly engaging the conveying surfaces, and a pair of spaced, resilient legs having distal end portions for resiliently and slidingly engaging the conveying surfaces. In another aspect, a transfer guard member having a body and at least one attachment member of the body configured for being detachably fixed to a mounting bar. The body has at least one recess adjacent the attachment member for receiving at least one attachment member of another transfer guard member fixed to the mounting bar so that upper transfer surfaces of the attachment members are adjacent one another.
