Conveyance device, drying device, image forming apparatus, and liquid discharge apparatus
A conveyance device includes a conveyance member, a guide, and a rotator. The conveyance member has a conveyance surface with a joint, the conveyance member to convey an object to be conveyed, with the object on the conveyance surface. The guide approaches the conveyance surface and guides the object from or to the conveyance member. The rotator contacts the conveyance surface. The guide displaces in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance surface, in conjunction with displacement of the rotator when the rotator contacts the joint.
Conveyor gap blocker
In one aspect, a gap blocker having a body configured to be supported in a gap of a roller conveyor by upstream and downstream rollers. The body has an upper blocking portion with upper contact portions for slidingly contacting the upstream and downstream rollers above a narrowest portion of the gap. The body further includes a plurality of laterally spaced upstream leg portions connected to the upper blocking portion and a plurality of laterally spaced downstream leg portions connected to the upper blocking portion longitudinally spaced from the upstream leg portions. The upstream leg portions have upstream distal end portions to be positioned below the narrowest portion of the gap for keeping the body in the gap. The downstream leg portions likewise have downstream end portions to be positioned below the narrowest portion of the gap for keeping the body in the gap.

Conveyor transfer guards
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a transfer guard member is provided for a transfer guard system. The transfer guard member has a unitary, one-piece body configured to connect to an elongate mounting member, an upper surface of the body, and an array of protrusions to support an object. The array of protrusions includes columns of protrusions each comprising a plurality of the protrusions aligned in a first direction. The array of protrusions includes first spacings extending in the first direction between the protrusions of each of the columns. The array of protrusions also includes second spacings extending in a second direction transverse to the first direction between the adjacent columns. The first spacings and the second spacings are each less than twice a height of the protrusions.

Conveyor transfer guards
In one aspect, a transfer guard member having a body for being positioned in a gap intermediate conveying surfaces, an upper portion of the body for spanning the gap and outer portions of the upper body for slidingly engaging the conveying surfaces, and a pair of spaced, resilient legs having distal end portions for resiliently and slidingly engaging the conveying surfaces. In another aspect, a transfer guard member having a body and at least one attachment member of the body configured for being detachably fixed to a mounting bar. The body has at least one recess adjacent the attachment member for receiving at least one attachment member of another transfer guard member fixed to the mounting bar so that upper transfer surfaces of the attachment members are adjacent one another.

GUARD ASSEMBLY FOR A CONVEYOR SYSTEM
Various embodiments are directed to a guard assembly for a conveyor system. The conveyor system includes a plurality of rollers rotatably disposed between a pair of side frames of the conveyor system. The guard assembly includes a top cover and a holder such that the top cover is disposed in a gap between two adjacent rollers of the plurality of rollers of the conveyor system; the holder is detachably coupled to the top cover and is configured to secure the top cover between the two adjacent rollers of the conveyor system. The guard assembly further comprises at least one rotatable element coupled to at least one of the top cover or the holder wherein the rotatable element is configured to engage with at least one adjacent roller of the conveyor system.
GUARD APPARATUS FOR A CONVEYOR SYSTEM
Various embodiments are directed to a guard apparatus for a conveyor system. The conveyor system comprises a plurality of rollers rotatably disposed between a pair of side frames of the conveyor system. The guard apparatus comprises a top cover and a first flange. The top cover is disposed in a first gap formed between a first roller and a second roller of the plurality of rollers. The first flange extends from a first end of the top cover into a second gap formed between a first end face of the first roller, a second end face of the second roller and a corresponding side frame of the conveyor system.
Dynamic comb for conveyance systems for moving people or objects
A dynamic comb for use with a conveyance system to transition a passenger or object from a nonmoving element to a moving element and vice versa. The dynamic comb can include a upper support element or a lower support element. The dynamic comb can also include a roller element disposed at least partially between and below portions of the upper support element. A method of installing the dynamic comb for an existing conveyance system or as part of a new conveyance system to transition a passenger or object from a nonmoving element to a nonmoving element and vice versa.
