High-speed, dual-sided shoe sorter with offset induct
A sortation conveyor has an endless apron supported for longitudinal movement on an elongate frame. An induction conveyor deposits articles on an offset lateral portion of a top conveying run of the apron. A pin guide assembly is coupled between the elongate frames and is upwardly presented to selectively receive the pin of pushers that laterally move across the apron. An upstream pre-sort section thereof positions articles from the offset lateral portion to an opposite lateral portion of the top conveying run. A downstream divert section of the pin guide assembly selectively diverts the articles to a divert target on the corresponding lateral side to the selected one of offset lateral position and the opposite lateral position.
DEVICE FOR ALIGNING PRODUCTS
A device for aligning products which includes an infeed station, to which the products are fed in a loose fashion, an outfeed station, from which the products come out aligned in at least two rows side by side and parallel, at least two conveyor belts, positioned alongside and parallel to each other in a conveying plane, between the infeed station and the outfeed station, and movable in a conveying direction, and a first panel, positioned centrally between the belts and extending along the conveying direction; and wherein the first panel is movable between a raised position, where the first panel protrudes from the conveying plane, and a lowered position, where the first panel is recessed in the conveying plane.
METAL CONTAINER CONVEYOR SYSTEMS INCLUDING DIVERTER MECHANISMS, AND METAL CONTAINER PROCESSING SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE SAME
A metal container conveyor system is provided. The metal container conveyor system includes (i) a conveyor body for moving metal containers, and (ii) at least one diverter mechanism configured to change a width of a portion of the conveyor body.
Divider arrangement for guiding packages between at least two conveyor belts, and method of controlling the same
A divider arrangement, guide device, for guiding packages between at least two conveyor belts, and method of controlling the same is provided.
Packing bay system for a goods checkout system
A packing bay system for a goods checkout system has several packing bays for taking up goods, a conveying device which includes at least one conveyor belt section for conveying goods in a conveying direction, and a goods switch which is adjustably arranged on the conveying device and includes a diverting wall longitudinally extending along a direction of longitudinal extension. In a first position, the goods switch with the diverting wall extends at an angle to the conveying direction across the at least one conveyor section, in order to guide goods which on conveyance in the conveying direction get in contact with the diverting wall in a diverting direction directed parallel to the direction of longitudinal extension from the at least one conveyor section towards a first packing bay. The goods switch is adjustable from the first position into a second position.
Conveying device
The invention starts from a conveying device (10c) having at least one transport unit (20′c, 20″c) for transporting packaging blanks (12c) and/or containers (14′c, 14″c) in a transport direction (16c) along a transport path (18c), wherein the transport unit has at least one conveying element (24′c, 24″c) which can be driven along a section (22c) of the transport path (18c). It is proposed that at least one conveying element (24′c, 24″c) has a rear side (26′c, 26″c) which in at least one operating state is intended to pull packaging blanks (12c) and/or containers (14′c, 14″c) in the transport direction (16c), and a front side (28′c, 28″c) which in at least one operating state is intended to push packaging blanks (12c) and/or containers (14′c, 14″c) in the transport direction (16c). The invention also relates to a packing machine comprising such a conveying device.
Systems, methods and apparatuses for changing the direction/speed of a workpiece
The present disclosure provides systems, methods and assemblies comprising one or more tapered feed rolls. Tapered feed rolls may be used to change the rate and direction of workpiece travel along a processing line while retaining the workpieces in sequential order. Routing workpiece flow with tapered feed rolls may allow the workpieces to be tracked along one or more processing lines, and may reduce the operational space required for workpiece processing.
Switch for a conveying line for transporting a laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier
A switch for a conveying line for transporting a laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier is presented. The conveying line comprises a first line portion and a second line portion. The switch comprises a curved first guiding surface and a second guiding surface. The switch is moveable between a first position, in which the laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier is transportable along the curved first guiding surface from the first line portion to the second line portion, and a second position, in which the laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier is further transportable along the second guiding surface on the first line portion. A switch assembly and a conveying line are also disclosed.
AUTOMATED GEMSTONE FEEDING
Examples of automated gemstone feeding are described. According to an example, a gemstone feeding machine includes a conveyor belt assembly to feed holders carrying gemstones. The conveyor belt assembly can include a plurality of conveyor belts in two sets positioned parallel to each other and the two sets can move in opposite directions. Each belt in one set can be positioned alternately with respect to each belt in the other set. The assembly can include a fixed guiding plate at a first end of the conveyor belts and a detachable guiding plate adjacent to the loading assembly at a second end of the conveyor belts. The fixed guiding plate and the detachable guiding plate each comprises a plurality of transition profiles in alignment with immediately adjacent conveyor belts.
