Collapsible ski
A collapsible ski includes a front part and a rear part that, when arranged in their linearly aligned position, are fixed in that position by a connecting platform which is rotatable around an axis, which extends throughout a fold between the front part and rear part, and which is rectangular. Benefits of such a collapsible ski may include, to a consumer, practical storage and transporting benefits, while to the manufacturer, may include simplification of technology for manufacturing of each component, when compared with manufacturing of classic single-part skis. The collapsible ski can be assembled in place simply without using any tools. The collapsible ski is assembled of several mutually connectable yet detachable parts. The collapsible ski also provides the possibility of combining separately manufactured and preferably standardized parts in view of providing semi-products and finalizing each collapsible ski.
Rear portion of a ski mountaineering binding
A rear portion of a ski mountaineering binding has a base with a turret rotatable into a first position. The binding portion attaches to a ski boot heel for downhill skiing. The turret has a second position for walking uphill. A ski brake includes a braking lever rotatable to assume a braking position and a non-active position. The brake has elastic for rotating the braking lever towards the braking position, the braking lever is pressed by the ski boot heel, when the turret is in the first position, in order to reach the non-active position. A rotation member rotatably borne by the base bears the braking lever. The rotation member and the turret are interconnected and solidly constrained to one another, with the turret in the second turret position and the braking lever in the non-active position, to enable walking uphill.
Multi-function block and snow sliding apparatus comprising same
Disclosed is a multi-function block for a snow sliding apparatus for enabling sliding on a surface of snow. The multi-function block is provided between a deck, constituting part of the snow sliding apparatus, and a bottom surface of a binding or boot, and spaces the binding or boot apart from the deck. A plurality of first fastening holes is formed in the multi-function block. At least any one of the deck, the binding and the boot is fastened to the plurality of first fastening holes. The first fastening holes are formed through at least any one of outside surfaces of the multi-function block. The multi-function block is formed in a three-dimensional shape having at least one pair of parallel outside surfaces.
Automatically Adaptive Ski
A ski for use on ice or snow is disclosed. The ski includes a ski body having a tip portion, a tail portion, and a longitudinal running length extending between the tip portion and the tail portion and a substantially flat bottom surface for sliding on snow or ice. The ski also includes a suspension system comprised of a substantially rigid support structure secured to the longitudinally central region of the said ski body at two attachment locations separated by a distance of at least 5 inches along the longitudinal axis of the ski body, and at least one resilient element configured to exert an opposing force between the support structure and the ski body in the area between the two attachment locations.
Snow sliding apparatus
A snow sliding apparatus for enabling sliding along a surface of snow, including: a plate-shaped deck configured to extend in a direction; and an auxiliary sliding part configured such that at least part thereof protrudes from both sides of the deck to have a width broader than and equal to that of edges of the deck, and configure to extend in a lengthwise direction of the deck, thereby protecting the edges of the deck during riding or assisting riding of the deck.
Ski bracket system
A ski binding system includes a binding support configured to support a toe piece and a heel piece of the ski binding system on a ski, wherein the bindings support includes at least one bindings support plate to which the toe piece and the heel piece are attached, wherein the at least one bindings support plate is maintained in parallel position to the ski under spring tension, and is configured to tilt when subjected to a tilting force to allow the ski bindings to sway, said tilting force being against the spring tension.
