APPARATUS FOR TAKING A SAMPLE OF MILK THAT FLOWS THROUGH A MILK LINE
An apparatus (1) for taking a sample (2) of milk (4) that flows through a milk line (6), wherein the apparatus comprises a main valve (8) comprising a first valve inlet (10) and a first valve outlet (12), the apparatus being configured for including the main valve in a milk flow path of the milk line by placing the first valve inlet in fluid communication with a first open end (16) of the milk line and placing the first valve outlet in fluid communication with a second open end (18) of the milk line, the first open end being located upstream of the second open end in the milk flow path, the apparatus further comprising a sample collecting chamber (20) for receiving the sample of the milk, the sample collecting chamber being provided with a sample collecting chamber inlet (22) and at least one sample collecting chamber outlet (24), and the main valve further comprising a second valve outlet (26), the second valve main valve is configured to selectively swatch between a first and a second state, wherein in the first state the first valve inlet is in fluid communication with the first valve outlet so that the milk can flow through the milk line without a sample being taken and wherein in the second state the first valve inlet is in fluid communication with the second valve outlet for supplying milk from the milk line to the sample collecting chamber and wherein the apparatus is configured to selectively place or not place the sample collecting chamber outlet in fluid communication with the milk line downstream of the main valve for leading back to the milk line excess milk of a milk sample which is in the sample collecting chamber.

A system for cleaning a dairy animal milker unit and applying dip to a dairy animal, the system includes a main control, an air supply, a water supply, a backflush fluid supply, a dip supply, a stall control for receiving the air, water, backflush fluid and dip supplies, and a safety valve that is adjacent to a downstream portion of the milker unit to control backflush and dip fluids being fed to the milker unit.
Dipping device for mechanical milking system
A dipping device for a mechanical milking system comprises at least one liner defining an accommodation space for a teat. The liner has a milk evacuation opening and a collecting claw. For each liner, a connector connects the liner to the collecting claw. The dipping device further includes a source of a dipping product, an injunction interface mounted on the collecting claw, and an injection tube for each liner. The injection tube extends from the interface and substantially to the teat accommodation space, running inside of the connector and through the evacuation opening.

Disclosed is a system for treating dairy livestock having fore legs and hind legs, wherein the system comprises a milking parlor ramp, livestock stalls positioned along at least part of the milking parlor ramp, wherein each stall is configured to contain one dairy livestock, at least one vertical upright teat cup holder comprising teat cups and a mobile unit. The mobile unit comprises equipment for treating livestock and a processor, where the mobile unit is configured to travel between the fore legs and hind legs of the dairy livestock on the milking parlor ramp and use the equipment to perform at least one action related to a treatment of the dairy livestock. Also disclosed is that the equipment includes an arm configured to withdraw the teat cups from the vertical upright teat cup holder and connect them to the dairy livestock.
MOBILE MILKING ROBOT WITH MINIMAL FOOTPRINT
