Crate-stacking system and crate-stacking apparatus
A crate-stacking system having a multiplicity of crates for stacking in a crate-stacking direction and having a crate-stacking apparatus for automatic stacking, wherein the crate-stacking apparatus has: a crate conveying apparatus designed to convey the crates from a crate feed section to a crate stacking section and to convey the stacked crates from the crate stacking section to a crate discharge section, a crate lifting apparatus arranged at the crate stacking section and which, on opposite sides of the conveying path, has gripping elements such that a respective crate can be gripped at mutually opposite sides by virtue of gripping fingers engaging, at the mutually opposite sides, into associated engagement longitudinal recesses, and a control apparatus connected to the crate conveying apparatus and to the crate lifting apparatus and which is designed to control the crate conveying apparatus and crate lifting apparatus in order to stack the crates.
Automatic packaging line to pack profiles and rotor
A packaging line to pack profiles and a rotor are described herein. An example method includes transferring a first profile to a movable head carrying a rotor, coupling the first profile to the rotor, along a first side wall of the first profile, with a concave section of the first profile facing upwards, rotating, via the rotor, the first profile such that the concave section of the first profile is facing downwards, transferring a second profile to the movable head with a concave section of the second profile facing upwards, and releasing the first profile over the second profile to insert a side wall of the first profile into the concave section of the second profile and a side wall of the second profile into the concave section of the first profile.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STACKING AND PACKAGING FOLDED PRODUCTS
The method for stacking and packaging folded products comprises the steps of: forming a stack of folded products, which are arranged in an upright position in a row, one behind the other, in a transport direction; arranging the stack of folded products in a delivery area above a receptacle on at least one support element, which supports the stack in the delivery area perpendicularly to the transport direction; releasing the stack perpendicularly to the transport direction by shifting or pivoting the at least one support element; pushing the stack of folded products out of the delivery area perpendicularly to the transport direction and into the receptacle by means of a pushing device.
Automated mail sorting system and method
An automated mail sorting system configured to position individual pieces of mail in one of a plurality of nested postal totes, including a denesting assembly configured to squeeze an upper portion of a postal tote of a plurality of nested postal totes to ease in separation of the postal tote from the plurality of nested postal totes, a traverse assembly configured to enable lifting of the postal tote from the plurality of nested postal totes and to transport the postal tote along a lateral distance, and a stacker assembly configured to receive the postal tote from the traverse assembly and to transport the postal tote past a feeder assembly for the positioning of individual pieces of mail within the postal tote.
Article loading facility
An article loading facility includes: a transport unit; a loading unit; a setting unit; a first control unit; and a second control unit. The transport unit transports second supporting members from storage units to a transfer position. The loading unit loads target articles that are supported by the second supporting members, onto the first supporting member. The setting unit performs an arrangement setting process to set arrangement information for each of the plurality of target articles that are to be loaded onto the first supporting member, the arrangement information indicating the orientation and the position of the corresponding target article relative to the first supporting member, and performs an arrangement order setting process to set a type arrangement order that, when target articles of a plurality of types are to be loaded according to the arrangement information, indicates the order in which the plurality of types are to be arranged. The second control unit controls the transport unit to transport the second supporting members to the transfer position according to the type arrangement order. The first control unit controls the loading unit to load the target articles onto the first supporting member according to the arrangement information that has been set in the arrangement setting process.

Workpiece carrier for transporting and/or storing components of drug delivery devices
The present invention relates to a workpiece carrier for transporting or storing components of a drug delivery device, comprising: an array of accommodating recesses extending in a first lateral plane (x, y) and being adapted to receive at least one component of the drug delivery device, at least one stack forming structure adapted to mate with a corresponding stack forming structure of another workpiece carrier for mutually aligning workpiece carriers when stacked on one another, wherein the center of the at least one stack forming structure is arranged laterally offset with respect to the center of the array of accommodating recesses in at least one lateral direction, and wherein the stack forming structure comprises a surrounding edge comprising at least in sections a corrugated or undulated structure.
METHOD AND PACKAGING MACHINE FOR PRODUCING A MULTIPACK
A packaging machine for grouping individual package units, the packaging machine comprising a feeder, a conveying system, a grouping station and a labeler. The packaging machine is configured to stack at least three package units one on top of the other to form a package stack and to encompass the package stack, at least partially, with a label. The label may comprise one or two labels, wherein the label sections are pressed against the top of the package stack and folded around the side and bottom of the package stack to secure the sections together. The packaging machine may further comprises a press plunger that presses at least one hinge-like tab formed on a main surface of the label onto a side face of a central package unit of the package stack to further secure the packages in the stack.
