APPARATUS FOR STACKING TACO SHELLS

A taco stacking apparatus comprises a conveyor assembly for supporting and moving taco shells along a predefined pathway. The conveyor assembly defines an opening in the predefined pathway that enables the taco shells to pass through the conveyor assembly. A stacking receptacle defines a channel for receiving taco shells passed through the opening in the predefined pathway of the conveyor assembly. A plunger assembly passes a taco shell through the opening in the predefined pathway of the conveyor assembly to the stacking receptacle.

STACKABLE CONTAINER

A stackable container comprising a bottom surface; a top ridge; a continuous tapered side wall extending upwardly from the bottom surface to the top ridge, wherein the continuous tapered side wall has an inner surface and an outer surface; and a number of wedged elements positioned on the tapered side wall, each of the number of wedged elements positionally spaced equidistant around the outer surface of the tapered side wall.

Storage device for stackable containers

A storage device for stackable containers for conveying items, in particular items of luggage in a sorting conveyor system in an airport, includes a lifting conveyor with a container receiving device which can be guided between upper and lower conveying planes for storing at least one container. A conveyor is disposed in the upper conveyor plane for guiding storage containers to a transfer position and a discharge conveyor is disposed in the upper conveyor plane for discharging stored containers from a transfer position. A moving device moves a container from the transfer position to the empty container receiving device or to a container placed on the uppermost part of the container receiving device and moves the most upper container placed on the container receiving device to the transfer position. As a result, empty containers can be received, housed and guided back in a simple and cost effective manner.

This application relates to tower segment handling methods and apparatus, and in particular to methods and apparatus for handling segments of steel wind turbine towers. The wind turbine tower comprises a plurality of cylindrical vertical tower sections, which in the finished tower are mounted on top of one another. The vertical section of the tower has a longitudinal axis and comprises a plurality of wind turbine tower segments, the tower segments have vertical and horizontal edges and combine to form a complete vertical tower section by joining along their vertical edges. Adjacent vertical tower sections are joined to each other along the horizontal edges of the wind turbine tower segments. The tower segments have support members facilitating storage and transport of the segments. A method of assembling and disassembling a tower section on a roller bed is also disclosed.
