Twenty-foot double stack well car

According to some embodiments, a railcar comprises a first well component supported by a first railcar truck and a second railcar truck. The first well component is disposed between the first railcar truck and the second railcar truck. The length of the first well component is restricted to transport an intermodal shipping container no longer than twenty feet in length. In particular embodiments, the first well component is configured to transport a double stack of twenty-foot intermodal shipping containers. Each twenty-foot shipping container of the double stack may be loaded to maximum weight of 67,000 pounds. Particular embodiments include an articulated railcar with two or more twenty-foot well components.

A portable animal loading chute includes a floor and side walls for transferring animals from the ground to a higher semi-trailer and smaller lower trailer for transportation. The whole chute including both the base and side walls move upwardly and downwardly to the height of the vehicle. What we did is make the angle of the loading chute is designed at half way between both heights so that a triangular gap is formed as the end faces of the side walls are not vertical and do not meet the vertical walls at the ground and trailer. Thus a small rectangular panel is mounted at each end of each side wall that can pivot to adjust to give the final required angle for to meet the vertical walls at the respective height.

The apparatus may be provided with an arrangement to substantially maintain its location in the desired position against forces resulting from impact by the powered material handling equipment operating within the shipping container.

Loading machine control device and control method

A control device outputs an operation signal of a work equipment and a swing body for moving a work equipment to a loading point when receiving a loading command signal. The control device does not output a dumping operation signal for causing the bucket to dump earth in a case where an azimuth direction in which the swing body faces is within a first region from a starting point azimuth direction to a predetermined reference azimuth direction, the starting point azimuth direction being an azimuth direction in which the swing body faces when the loading command signal is received. The control device outputs the dumping operation signal in a case where the azimuth direction is within a second region from the reference azimuth direction to an end point azimuth direction in which the swing body faces when the work equipment is positioned at the loading point.
