11645696 · 2023-05-09 · ·

An autonomous robot vehicle in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure includes a conveyance system and a compartment coupled to the conveyance system. The conveyance system autonomously drives the autonomous robotic vehicle between one or more storage locations and one or more delivery locations. The compartment receives one or more items stored at the one more storage locations. The compartment includes a temperature control module configured to maintain the compartment within a predetermined temperature range to provide temperature control for the one or more items as the conveyance system drives between the one or more storage locations and the one or more delivery locations.

METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR PACKAGING GLASS ARTICLES

A method of forming bundles of glass articles is provided. The method includes transporting individual glass articles to an insert building station using a conveying system. The glass articles are individually located within article receiving slots of a layer separation insert using the conveying system. Each slot of the layer separation insert receives a single glass article forming a glass article layer of side-by-side glass articles. Multiple glass article layers including layer separation inserts are stacked using the conveying system forming a bundle. The layer separation inserts provide a barrier between adjacent glass articles of each of the glass article layers to inhibit glass-to-glass contact.

Grain cart with folding auger

A grain cart and foldable auger assembly having an upper auger assembly portion with a discharge portion, a lower auger assembly portion with an intake portion, and a compound angle joint that allows the upper auger assembly portion to be moved between operating and transport positions. When in an operating position, the upper auger portion and the lower auger portion are offset from each other by an operating offset angle. When in a transport position, the upper auger assembly portion is offset from the lower auger assembly portion by a transport offset angle such that the upper auger assembly portions folded across the front of the grain cart in a non-obstructive and non-protruding manner.

Load handler for loading and unloading tall resilient unitary loads in height-restricting containers

A load handler is capable of loading and unloading tall unitary resilient loads such as large construction tires or other tall compressible loads such as bales normally considered incompatible for shipment in standard closed-top containers, to enable such compatibility economically. The load handler has a pair of vertically spaced load clamping arms, the upper arm being capable of rotating such a resilient load selectively onto or off of the lower arm while the load is compressed between the load clamping arms.

Shading topography imaging for robotic unloading

Vision systems for robotic assemblies for handling cargo, for example, unloading cargo from a trailer, can determine the position of cargo based on shading topography. Shading topography imaging can be performed by using light sources arranged at different positions relative to the image capture device(s).

An automated storage and retrieval system comprising an automated storage and retrieval grid and a delivery system. The automated storage and retrieval grid includes a container handling vehicle rail system for guiding a plurality of container handling vehicles and a delivery column adapted for transport of a storage container arranged in a stack of storage containers beneath the container handling vehicle rail system between a container handling vehicle and a delivery port situated at a lower end of the delivery column. The container handling vehicle rail system includes a first set of parallel rails arranged in a horizontal plane and extending in a first direction, and a second set of parallel rails arranged in the horizontal plane and extending in a second direction which is orthogonal to the first direction, which first and second sets of rails form a grid pattern in the horizontal plane including a plurality of adjacent container handling vehicle grid cells. Each container handling vehicle grid cell includes a container handling vehicle grid opening defined by a pair of neighboring rails of the first set of rails and a pair of neighboring rails of the second set of rails. The delivery system includes a remotely operated delivery vehicle including a container carrier adapted to support the storage container. The delivery vehicle is further adapted to transport the storage container between the delivery port and a second location for handling of the storage container by at least one of a robotic operator and a human operator.

The present disclosure provides a trailer and a vehicle. The trailer comprises: a structural beam; and at least one container protector installed on the structural beam; wherein the container protector comprises a drive member and a protection member, the drive member being adapted to drive the protection member to rise and lower, and the protection member being capable of providing a limiting function for a container on the trailer when raised. The present disclosure may automatically raise the protection member after installing the container on the trailer so that the protection member locks the container; before the container is to be unloaded, the protection member is automatically retracted to release the limiting function for the container. In this way, it is no longer necessary to specially manually tighten or loosen a shackle of a container, realizing the intelligent control of cargo loading and unloading.
