Terminal for transfer of dry, flowable, granular materials
A transfer terminal is shown for off-loading dry, flowable, granular material from large transportation vehicles such as trucks or barges to smaller transport trucks. A pouch within a tank is provided for receiving the material, which material is distributed to storage silos. A single elevator is used to load the pouch and all storage silos. By aeration of the materials, a very low angle of repose is created for the material, which allows the material to flow at a very low angle, both to and from the various silos. Material being loaded into a transport truck flows through the pouch.
Liquefied gas transfer system
The invention relates to a system (1) for transferring liquefied gas between a first facility and a second facility, said transfer system (1) including: an articulated arm (2) including a first proximal part (6) suitable for being mounted so that it can rotate on the first facility about a first vertical axis (A), a second median part (7) that is mounted pivoting on the first proximal part (6) and a third distal part (8) that is mounted pivoting on the second median part (7); and at least one transfer line (3, 4, 5), suitable for transferring liquefied gas between the first facility and the second facility, and including a flexible first proximal portion (15) suitable for being connected to a liquefied gas storage tank of the first facility; a rigid second median portion (16) that is fastened to the second median part (7) of the articulated arm (2) and a third distal portion (17) that is suspended on the third distal part (8) of the articulated arm (2) and has an end suitable for being connected to a manifold of the second facility, the second median portion (16) being provided with a valve (22).
SHIPLOADING SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for shiploading.
Method and apparatus for disposal of cuttings
A method and apparatus for disposing of drill cuttings 500 from an oil and/or gas well drilling platform 510, comprising (a) transporting the drill cuttings 520 to a cuttings collection area 530 on the platform 510; (b) providing a barge 10, the barge 10 having at least one storage area 30, a cover 100 operably connected to the at least one storage area 30, and covering the at least one storage area 30; (c) placing the cover 100 in a first open state so that cuttings 500 can be placed in the at least one storage area 30; (d) transporting the drill cuttings 500 from the cuttings collection area 530 to the at least one storage area of the barge 10; (e) placing the cover 100 in a closed state so that the cuttings 520 in the storage area 30 of the barge 10 are contained; (f) transporting the barge 10 from the drilling platform 510 to a collection site 540; (g) placing the cover 100 in a second open state so that the cuttings 520 in the storage area 30 can be removed; and (h) removing the cuttings 520 from the storage area 30.
DEVICE FOR LOADING OF BULK CARRIERS AND LOADING METHOD
This disclosure refers to a device for assisting in the loading of bulk carriers even in rainy weather. Such device comprises: a smooth hose configured to be inserted into the opening of the hatch of the storage hold cover of the ship; a folding hose placed above the smooth hose and configured to absorb the movements of the bulk carrier relative to the device; an upper flange for fastening the device to the free end of the nozzle of the ship loader; and a lower flange configured to connect the device to the hatch opening of the storage hold cover of the ship. The disclosure also includes a method of loading bulk carriers using the device.
STORAGE AND RECLAIM SYSTEM FOR BULK MATERIAL
A storage and reclaim system for bulk material includes a bulk material holding space having a bottom portion provided with a discharge port. The bottom portion includes an inclined support plate for supporting the bulk material and for assisting gravity induced feeding of the bulk material towards the discharge port. The support plate is supported by a support structure in a free-floating manner. One or more vibrators are connected to the support plate and configured to transfer vibrational energy to the support plate to induce a vibrational movement of the support plate. The discharge port includes one or more inclined discharge port plates. One or more vibrators are connected to each discharge port plate.

TRACKED RADIAL STACKER WITH WHEELS
A tracked, portable radial stacker for stockpiling bulk material including a linear conveyor having a rear portion and a front portion and being designed to carry bulk material from a low position adjacent the rear portion to a higher position adjacent the front portion. A foot may be disposed adjacent the rear portion of the conveyor and designed to selectively contact the ground to facilitate pivoting of the conveyor. A continuous track system may include a frame to which the conveyor is mounted, the track system including a pair of driven, parallel tracks designed to contact the ground to convey the stacker from one position to another, and to be lifted off the ground when desired. A pair of mid-wheels may be mounted to the frame to be moveable between a raised position in which they do not contact the ground and a lowered position in which they contact the ground and lift the tracks off the ground. A rear wheel may be mounted adjacent the rear portion of the conveyor to be moveable between a raised position in which it does not contact the ground and a lowered position in which it contacts the ground and lifts the tracks off the ground to permit movement of the conveyor on the rear wheel.
SHIP LOADING SYSTEM
A ship loading system for loading fluidizable materials into a ship's hold is described. The system comprises a self-supporting tubular boom that is attached to a support tower at a single attachment point. An air gravity conveyor is enclosed within the tubular boom for materials from the vicinity of the support tower to the ship's hold.
