The opening defines a vertical material loading axis that is offset relative to the hopper axis. A diverter member may be provided that is positioned along the material loading axis and configured to divert the powder material entering through the opening. A powder material feed system may be disposed adjacent the lower end of the hopper to feed the powder material from the hopper.

TIME OF FLIGHT GRAIN CART FILL SENSOR WITH COMBINED SPOUT AS SCANNING HEAD
20240208747 · 2024-06-27 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed for sensing and analyzing filling of a grain cart while receiving grain from a combine. Time-of-flight sensors may be mounted on a grain spout (or nozzle) extending from the combine over the grain cart during operation. The sensors provide signals indicative of distances of surfaces of accumulating grain from the sensors, and these distances may be determined by onboard processing circuitry. A third sensor may detect a spout-to-ground distance to help compute the grain level information. Other parameters such as cross-sectional areas, volumes, and locations in the cart may be determined based on the sensed signals. Open or closed loop control of cart and/or combine positioning may be provided based on the signals.

Friction driven beltless grain spreader

A friction driven beltless grain spreader system is presented that includes a spreader cone having a pulley and a grain deflector configured to disperse the flow of grain. A motor having a driven wheel and an idler wheel are pivotally connected to the spreader cone in operative engagement with the pulley such that the idler wheel is positioned between the driven wheel and the pulley. A tension member applies a force that pulls the driven wheel and intermediary wheel into the pulley. As the motor rotates the driven wheel rotates the idler wheel which rotates the pulley. When forces spike, such as when the motor is turned on or a heavy flow of grain hits the system, one or more of the driven wheel, intermediary wheel and/or pulley slip with respect to the other wheels thereby preventing breakage of the system.

Loading Head of a Pneumatic Loading System for Bulk Material

A loading head (1, 30) of a pneumatic loading system for the uniform introduction of bulk material (49) into the inner space of container sections (45), wherein the loading head (1, 30) is arranged on the free end of a loading tube (12, 73), the outlet connector (7) of which has an outlet opening (10) which is directed toward a distribution head (13, 43) for the lateral deflection of the bulk material into the container section (45), which has an approximately conical deflection surface (15), wherein the distribution head (13, 43) is fastened at least in the direction of the longitudinal extension (X direction) of the container section (45) so that it can be shifted and locked on the loading head (1, 30).

Distribution head of a gravimetric loading system for bulk materials

A distribution head (20) of a gravimetric loading system for spreadable bulk materials with a rotatably driven spreader plate (40), which is composed of a bottom side base plate (53), which is connected in the central region with the one end of a drive shaft (21) and on which a number of blades (33-35) evenly distributed on the circumference and with their blade edges (52) approximately in a radially outward direction is arranged, wherein the blade edges (52) of blades (33-35) are interrupted in the direction of the central axial drive shaft (21) and thus a ring channel (43) extending in the axial direction and free from structures is formed, which channel forms an additional filling and receiving space for the bulk material to be distributed.
