Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a conveyer and a method of controlling the mentioned conveyer. In one embodiment, a conveyer includes: a support base; a roller assembly including a plurality of delivery rollers coaxially arranged, a plurality of lead screws and a plurality of screw motors respectively connected in a one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of lead screws, each of the delivery rollers being formed with at least one threaded hole, and being engaged with the corresponding lead screw of the lead screws through the threaded hole of the each of the delivery rollers; a driving shaft rotatably connected with the support base, the screw motors being provided on the driving shaft by fixing structures, wherein the delivery rollers are provided to be coaxial with the driving shaft; and a driver unit configured to drive rotation of the driving shaft.

Method and Apparatus for Retaining Items on Material Handling Apparatus Delivery Vehicles
Respective items are retained as they are transported by mobile delivery mechanisms. An item to be delivered to a target storage location of a plurality of storage locations is positioned upon the carrying surface of a delivery mechanism. The carrying surface defines a retention zone bounded by a first wall, a second wall, a third wall and a fourth wall. At least one of the third wall or the fourth wall are displaceable to define an opening in the retention zone. The delivery mechanism moves from the location where an item is received to a location proximate the target storage location to facilitate transfer of the item through the opening obtained by displacing one of the third wall or the fourth wall. Irregularly shaped items are freeduring movement of the delivery mechanismto move upon the carrying surface and within the boundaries of the retention zone.

A fluid-floated conveying device includes a multi-channel space conversion cabin. An upper channel port is provided with a floating ball outlet gate which is communicated with a water pipe filled with a liquid. A side channel port is provided with a floating ball inlet gate communicated with the external atmosphere. A lower channel port is connected to a water storage pressure cylinder or a water discharging pipe. A floating ball carries articles and enters the cleared space conversion cabin from the side channel. The floating ball inlet gate of the side channel is closed, the cabin is filled with water, the floating ball outlet gate of the upper channel is opened, the floating ball rises and enters from the upper channel port, the communicated water pipe filled with the liquid, the water buoyancy enables the floating ball to rise, and the carried articles are conveyed to a receiving platform.
