CONVEYING APPARATUS
The disclosure relates to a luggage conveyor device (1, 2, 3) for efficiently supplying a plurality of inspection objects to be inspected or individual items in general to an inspection device (4). According to the disclosure, the conveyor device (1, 2, 3) is particularly efficiently designed such that an inspection object inspection is carried out quickly and smoothly. The disclosure also relates to a correspondingly designed method for operating said conveyor device (1, 2, 3), and to a computer programme product including control commands for implementing the method or operating the conveyor device (1, 2, 3).
Baggage conveyor and storage system
An automated baggage conveyor and storage system used in a transportation vehicle for receiving baggage from a passenger. The system includes a vertical conveyor, with drive motor. The vertical conveyor includes baggage trays mounted on a conveyor belt and under the control of an electronic sensor for starting and stopping the conveyor belt. Next to the top of the vertical conveyor is one end of a motor driven, horizontal conveyor. When a passenger places a piece of baggage on one of the trays, it is lifted to the top of the vertical conveyor and transferred to the horizontal conveyor. The piece of baggage is then moved along a length of the overhead storage compartment, where the baggage remains stored during transit.
System and method for storing and sequencing luggage items
A system and method for storing and sequencing a plurality of luggage items. The method includes receiving at least one of the luggage items into a loading area from an entrance conveyor disposed in the loading area. Once received, the luggage items are moved from the entrance conveyor onto a shelf of a container with a loading assembly. The method continues with transporting the container from the loading area to the storage area with an automatic guided vehicle with the luggage item disposed on the shelf of the container. When the luggage items are ready to be processed, the method continues with transporting the first container from the storage area to the unloading area with the automatic guided vehicle with the received luggage item disposed on the shelf of the container. Different embodiments of the loading and unloading assemblies are provided.
FOLDABLE CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A foldable conveyor system is disclosed appropriate for loading and unloading an airplane using two people. In one embodiment, the foldable conveyor system is formed of a plurality of foldable sections, where each section has a first half and a second half foldably connected to each other. Each first half and each second half has reversible tension-controlled conveyor belts for moving luggage into or out of an aircraft. When fully deployed, and thus operating flat along the interior of an aircraft, the foldable conveyor system operates to move luggage and other objects placed on the foldable conveyor system in a selected direction.
Conveying device
A conveying device according to the present invention includes a first connection mechanism provided on an upper surface, a base member provided on the upper surface, a sliding mechanism that relatively and slidably moves a position of the first connection mechanism on a slide axis relative to the base member, and a traveling mechanism that makes the conveying device travel. The first connection mechanism is connected with a carriage at a predetermined connection position. The sliding mechanism slidably moves the first connection mechanism between the connection position and a predetermined conveyance position spaced away from the connection position on the slide axis in a state in which the first connection mechanism is connected with the carriage. The traveling mechanism makes the conveying device travel in a state in which the first connection mechanism is positioned in the conveyance position.
MULTIPLE-SCANNER X-RAY SYSTEM INCLUDING SYNCHRONIZED X-RAY MARKERS
Various embodiments of the present invention are directed towards a system and method for synchronized markers. A multiple-scanner X-ray system includes a belt passing by an upper X-ray scanner and a lower X-ray scanner. An upper belt portion is conveyed in a first direction by the upper X-ray scanner and a lower belt portion is conveyed in a second direction opposite the first direction by the lower X-ray scanner, to obtain upper and lower X-rays. A plurality of X-ray reactive markers are positionally synchronized relative to each other and the belt and conveyed by the belt to cause upper visual marker information, corresponding to a visual appearance of the upper scanned belt section, to be consistent with i) upper X-ray marker information of the upper X-ray, and ii) lower X-ray marker information of the lower X-ray.
RECIPROCATING ACCELERATION SIGNATURE MONITORING AND TREND ANALYSIS SYSTEM
A diverter system includes a diverter arm, an actuator assembly for operating the diverter arm, a position sensor for monitoring a motion signature of the diverter arm, and a control unit operably coupled to the position sensor and configured to evaluate the motion signature of the diverter arm.
Transport system and transport method
A transport system is a transport system that transports a luggage using a transport vehicle and a transport robot. In a state in which the transport robot and the transport vehicle are connected, the transport robot takes out the luggage from the transport vehicle, or stores the luggage in the transport vehicle.
Synchronized markers for X-ray systems
