Conveying and positioning system and method
Disclosed is a conveying and positioning system and method, which is applied in the technical field of conveyance in the automotive industry and comprises a roller machine, a conveying trolley and an intelligent variable-frequency controller, wherein the conveying trolley is provided with a reflector; the roller machine is provided with a driving mechanism and a distance sensor; and, the driving mechanism comprises a driving motor controlled by the intelligent variable-frequency controller and a rotary encoder capable of feeding back rotation speed information of the driving motor to the intelligent variable-frequency controller. In the present invention, with the intelligent variable-frequency controller, by reading position information fed back by the distance sensor and rotation speed information fed back by the rotary encoder, accurate voltage frequency control information is output by internal operation so as to control the rotation speed of the driving motor, so that a double closed loop control mode of the conveying and positioning system is realized. In the present invention, fast conveyance, accurate positioning and stable operation of the conveying trolley can be realized by the technical solutions in the double closed loop control mode, and the cost is low.
Dip treatment system and method for the dip treatment of articles, in particular vehicle bodies
A dip treatment system for treating articles, in particular for treating vehicle bodies, includes a dip treatment tank, which can be filled with a treatment liquid, into which articles to be treated can be fully or partially dipped. A conveying system defines a conveying path and includes at least one transport carriage, which can be displaced along the conveying path in a transport direction and includes a fastening device, to which at least one article can be fastened. The conveying system can convey the articles to be treated towards the dip treatment tank, fully or partially into the interior of the dip treatment tank, out of the dip treatment tank and away therefrom. The conveying path of the conveying system is divided into sub-paths, of which at least one first sub-path leads to the dip treatment tank or to an immersion region of the dip treatment tank and of which a second sub-path passes by said dip treatment tank or immersion region of said dip treatment tank. The invention further includes a method for the dip treatment of articles.
PLANTS FOR IMMERSION OF BODYWORKS
A plant for immersion treatment of vehicle bodies may include: at least one skid configured to support a body; at least one process liquid tank; and/or a conveyor line configured to convey the at least one skid above the at least one process liquid tank. The at least one skid may include base and support parts. The support part may be supported on the base part using a rotatable shaft, so that the support part is rotatable between a first position, in which the body is not immersed in the at least one process liquid tank, and a second position for immersing the body in the at least one process liquid tank. The at least one skid may include a toothed wheel connected to the rotatable shaft for controlled rotation. The at least one skid may include a controllable locking/unlocking device configured to lock/unlock free rotation of the rotatable shaft.
Multi-strand flat top conveyor
A vehicle production assembly line includes a conveyor system to support a vehicle. The conveyor system includes a first side conveyor chain, a second side conveyor chain, and a middle conveyor chain positioned between the first side conveyor chain and the second side conveyor chain. The first side conveyor chain, the second side conveyor chain, and the middle conveyor chain are laterally aligned with each other and can be mechanically synchronized with a single motor.

A base portion has a set of apertures, the first set of apertures being elongated along a first direction, each of the set of apertures being dimensioned to receive a fastener for fastening the base portion to a trench wall. LINEAR MOTOR HOUSING CONSTRUCTION
A system for transporting a carrier vehicle using linear motors comprising a linear motor housing shaped to hold one or more linear motors includes a rectangular top plate. A left side plate is connected adjacent to a first longitudinal edge of the rectangular top plate and a right side plate is connected adjacent to a second longitudinal edge of the rectangular top plate. The linear motor housing further includes a plurality of coupling components operable to couple the linear motor housing to one or more adjacent linear motor housings in a manner that facilitates continuous propulsion of the carrier vehicle across the rectangular top plate of the linear motor housing and rectangular top plates corresponding to the one or more adjacent linear motor housings.
Conveying apparatus for conveying transporting structures
A conveying apparatus for conveying transporting structures with at least one conveying element, in particular transportation skids with a conveying runner in the automotive industry. A conveying route has at least one route unit with at least one longitudinal profile which defines a transporting direction. A drive system for the transporting structures has at least one drive device which is arranged on the at least one longitudinal profile and has at least one drive wheel which can be rotated about an axis of rotation and can be pressed, in the form of a friction wheel, against the conveying element. A bearing structure which bears the drive wheel, is mounted such that it can be pivoted about a pivot axis, and therefore the drive wheel can be moved relative to the longitudinal profile. The pivot axis of the bearing structure runs at an angle to the axis of rotation of the drive wheel.
Manufacturing plant, conveying system and method
A manufacturing plant (1), for workpieces (29), includes a plurality of manufacturing stations (2 to 5) and a conveying system (9) for conveying the workpieces within the manufacturing plant (1) and between the manufacturing stations (2 to 5). Mobile automatic conveying devices (13, 14, 15) travel on a conveying path network (11) of a plurality of interlinked conveying paths (10) intersecting each other. The conveying paths (10) are connected to a plurality of manufacturing stations (2 to 5) arranged in a station matrix (8).
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE SYSTEM
A service system for servicing a vehicle includes a service station and a parts locker array disposed in or adjacent the service station and including: a plurality of parts lockers. Each parts locker includes a locker access door configured to alternatively open and close to permit and impede, respectively, access to the parts locker's interior, and a locker locking mechanism configured to alternatively lock and unlock to impede and permit, respectively, opening of the parts locker access door.

A plant for immersion treatment of vehicle bodies may include at least one skid configured to support a body; at least one process liquid tank; a line configured to convey the at least one skid above the at least one tank; and/or a device configured to overturn and immerse, inside the at least one tank, the body on the at least one skid positioned over the at least one tank using the conveyor line. The at least one skid may include a base part and a support part. The support part may be supported rotatably on the base part using a rotatable shaft with axis arranged transverse to a direction of movement of the at least one skid on the conveyor line, so that the support part is rotatable between a first upper position and a second position for immersing the body in the at least one tank.
