The base also includes a first conveyor positioned under the funnel. The funnel is configured to direct a material from the knife gate onto a middle portion of the first conveyor. The system also includes a derrick having a first end that is coupled to the base. The derrick includes a second conveyor configured to receive the material from the first conveyor and to convey the material upward when the system is in an unfolded state. The derrick also includes a drum motor positioned proximate to an end of the derrick and configured to provide power to the second conveyor. The system also includes a first arm having a first end that is coupled to the end of the derrick.

SPREADER FOR SPREADING GRANULAR MATERIAL AND METHOD OF SPREADING GRANULAR MATERIAL

In one embodiment, a hopper spreader apparatus for spreading granular material is provided. The hopper spreader apparatus includes a hopper, a spreading unit, and a dispensing unit. The hopper has a storage cavity for storing the granular material to be spread. The spreading unit spreads the granular material. The dispensing system transports the granular material from the hopper to the spreading unit. The dispensing system includes a conveying unit and a rotating first roll. The conveying unit conveys the granular material toward the spreading unit. The rotating first roll controls a flow of granular material from the hopper to the conveying unit. The use of the rotating roll allows for control of high flow material (such as for example dry salt) while allowing for improved collapse and break-up of low flow material (such as for example wetted sand).

System, apparatus and method for preparing materials transported in open top conveyance

A system for profiling particulate material in an open top conveyance comprises a profiling structure supported above the open top conveyance and engaging the particulate matter in the open top conveyance as the open top conveyance moves in a forward direction therebelow so that the particulate matter forward of the profiling structure is given a generally uniform profile in at least a longitudinal middle portion of the open top conveyance. The open top conveyance normally is one of a sequential train of gondola cars moving on a pair of rails extending under the profiling structure, and the particulate material typically is or comprises coal.

BELT CONVEYOR LOAD ZONE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
20170101266 · 2017-04-13 ·

A cartridge assembly for use in a load zone support includes a shaft that is able to be connected to an idler frame of a belt conveyor system. The cartridge assembly further includes a support plate coupled to the shaft and a wear pad coupled to the support plate.

BRAKE SYSTEM FOR CONVEYOR TAKE-UP MECHANISM
20170101270 · 2017-04-13 ·

A tensioning mechanism for a conveyor system includes a support structure, a first carriage, a second carriage, and a brake mechanism. The first carriage is positioned proximate a first end of the support structure and is supported for movement relative to the support structure. The first carriage includes first rolls for receiving the belt such that movement of the first carriage modifies a tension in the belt. The second carriage is supported for movement relative to the support structure and includes second rolls and at least one return pulley. The second rolls are configured to support a portion of the belt extending between the first carriage and the second carriage. The brake mechanism is positioned proximate a second end of the support structure and includes a brake pulley and a brake selectively retarding rotation of the brake pulley. The brake pulley supports a portion of the belt extending between the brake mechanism and the return pulley.

Return belt tracking idler for conveyor belt system
09611101 · 2017-04-04 ·

A concave conveyor belt idler system for use on the return run of a conveyor belt system, the idler being configured to maintain alignment of the belt and inherently adjust any misalignment thereof occurring during operation of the system. The concave conveyor belt idler system includes an elongated support member extending transversely of a conveyor belt return run and supporting a plurality of idler roller modules positioned such that the roller modules along the anterior side of the support member define a cave shape for supporting the conveyor belt, with the outer lateral edges at a lower elevation than the central portion of the conveyor belt. In a conveyor belt system the concave conveyor belt idler of the disclosed technology is positioned between two planate idler systems, on the return run, so that the center roller of the concave idler is in or near the plane of the belt as it traverses the planate idler systems, with the remaining rollers of the concave idler positioned below this plane.

Systems and methods for extracting sand from raw slurry material
09597618 · 2017-03-21 · ·

A processing system for processing raw slurry material has a barrel member, at least one transport member, and at least one separator member. The barrel member defines a processing chamber and at least one intermediate opening. The processing chamber defines a pre-processing portion and a separator portion. The at least one transport member is arranged within the pre-processing portion of the processing chamber. The at least one separator member is arranged within the separator portion of the processing chamber and configured to define at least one separator gap. As the barrel member rotates about a longitudinal axis thereof, the at least one transport member transports at least a portion of the raw slurry material through the pre-processing portion of the processing chamber, and the at least one separator member transports at least a portion of the raw slurry material through the separator portion of the processing chamber.

PNEUMATIC CONVEYING VESSEL

A feed-in container for fluidizing and conveying products in dust form, such as, for example, coal dust, using conveying gases under pressures up to 7 MPa, in which the fluidizing floor is fastened by a central tubular supporting construction. A stable and low-outlay construction takes up the weight and pressure loading of the fluidizing floor. An emptying line is arranged in the supporting construction, making a separate opening through the fluidizing floor obsolete and thus providing a low-outlay passage through the fluidizing floor. The supporting construction is also designed such that it serves as a shaft guide for an agitator.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AN APRON FEEDER
20250100812 · 2025-03-27 · ·

A system for continuously monitoring an apron feeder in real-time. The system includes sensor modules of different types, wherein each sensor module refers to a specific type of unit of the apron feeder. Each sensor module includes at least one sensor configured to measure an individual condition of a unit of the apron feeder, generate sensor data representing the measured individual condition, and transmit the generated sensor data. The sensor modules include a base station configured to collect the sensor data and to transmit outbound data, the outbound data being based on the collected sensor data. A processing unit is configured to receive the outbound data from the base station, analyse the outbound data for determining whether or not any of the unit of the apron feeder needs to be replaced or readjusted, and generate a result of the determination for continuously indicating an overall state of the apron feeder.
