Vertical sorter

A vertical sorter having a track with at least two straight portions and at least two curved portions is disclosed. A linear motor primary coil is mounted on the at least two straight portions, and two adjacent straight potions are connected by at least one curved portion. Supply tables are disposed at ends of the at least two straight portions respectively and used for providing goods to each straight portion; chutes are disposed along two sides of the at least two straight portions and used for transporting the goods on each straight portion to corresponding areas; a sorting trolley is used for conveying the goods on the supply table to a corresponding chute; and a secondary magnet is mounted on the sorting trolley, wherein the linear motor primary coil and the secondary magnet cooperate to drive the sorting trolley to move along the track.

The present invention discloses a drive system of a scraper conveyor and a control method. The drive system includes a nose sprocket, a tail sprocket, a nose sprocket drive mechanism, and a tail sprocket drive mechanism, where the nose sprocket drive mechanism is a hydraulic motor I, and the tail sprocket drive mechanism is a hydraulic motor II; and a hydraulic system that drives the hydraulic motor I and a hydraulic system that drives the hydraulic motor II include same hydraulic elements, and both include a three-position four-way solenoid directional valve, a two-position two-way solenoid directional valve, a two-position three-way solenoid directional valve, an accumulator, and an oil supplement valve group. The present invention is applicable to rapid starting and stopping of the scraper conveyor in a heavy load status while adjusting chain tension in real time, thereby resolving a power imbalance problem in a dual-drive system, and has a simple structure and a long service life.

The divider may be situated at the first lateral edge and may be configured to slide laterally with respect to the module base to adjust a width of the bin module.

The system may include a plurality of pallets, each pallet including at least a first and second sockets configured to receive a location pin. The system may include a pin changing unit located between a top assembly line and a lower return line. The pin changing unit may include a pin grabber configured to engage the location pin within the first socket. The pin changing unit may include a horizontal linear actuator configured to move the pin grabber and the engaged location pin into alignment with the second socket. The pin changing unit may include a vertical linear actuator configured to extend the pin grabber into engagement with the location pin and retract the pin grabber away from the location pin.

Smart monitoring of belt tension and slip

A method and apparatus for monitoring tension and detecting slip of industrial belts while in running condition on belt drive system by using ultrasonic transducers. The sensing part involves two ultrasonic transducers which are installed on an assembly which is placed within a constrained space between the tension side and slack side of belt. Sinusoidal waves having predefined amplitude are sent from transmitting transducer on the belt and amplitude of the signal reflected from the belt is measured and compared with a threshold value to detect reduced tension. An acoustic sleeve is mounted on driving and driven pulley locknuts to blank the reflected signal periodically to measure the speeds of the pulleys compared to detect the slip of the belt. The apparatus generates an alert to user when the belt tension is reduced and/or when slip is detected. The processing circuit involves microcontroller with Wi-Fi module to send alert messages.
