CARD-FEEDING DEVICE AND BADGE AND CARD PRINTER HAVING SAME
The present invention discloses a card-feeding device and a badge and card printer. The card-feeding device comprises: a base on which cards are stacked, a card outlet being provided at one end of the base; a rotary card-feeding mechanism which is located below the bottommost card and provided with a rotary swing arm and a push rod provided on the rotary swing arm, the push rod pushing the bottommost card towards the card outlet as the swing arm rotates; and a roller card-feeding mechanism which is installed between the rotary card-feeding mechanism and the card outlet and provided with a roller with an outer edge protruding from the top surface of the base, the bottommost card being transported to the card outlet when the roller rotates.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE, IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding device includes a stacking tray, a feeding portion, a first restricting member which includes a first restricting surface and a first supporting portion, a second restricting member which includes a second restricting surface and a second supporting portion, and an interrelating portion. In a state in which the first restricting surface and the second restricting surface are brought closest to each other, a part of the first restricting portion is positioned on a second restricting surface side with respect to a center line of the stacking tray, and a part of the second restricting portion is positioned on a first restricting surface side with respect to the center line.

MEDIUM SUPPORT DEVICE AND RECORDING APPARATUS
A medium support device includes: a first support section that transits between a first position and a second position relative to a main body; a second support section that transits between a retracted position and a protruding position relative to the first support section; and a locking mechanism configured to set a lock the second support section. When the first support section is in the first position and the second support section is retracted into the first support section, the retracted state is formed. When the first support section is in the second position and the second support section protrudes from the first support, the extended state is formed. The locking mechanism locks the second support section retracted into the first support section when the first support section is in the first position and releases the lock when the first support section is in the second position.
SHEET HANDLING APPARATUS
A sheet handling apparatus includes a transport path that includes a first path, a second path, and a curved portion connecting the first path and the second path, the transport path circularly transports a sheet along the transport path in a forward direction or a backward direction. The sheet handling apparatus further includes a rolling body that is disposed at the curved portion and rotates clockwise and counterclockwise, and a plurality of rollers that are opposed to the rolling body and sandwich the sheet between each of the plurality of rollers and the rolling body along the curved portion of the transport path. The rolling body transports the sheet in the forward direction by rotating clockwise and transports the sheet in the backward direction by rotating counterclockwise.
MEDIA FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A media feeding apparatus includes a media mounting section, a first feed roller, a media pressing section for pressing media sheets against the first feed roller, and a pressing force adjuster for adjusting the pressing force of the media pressing section. The controller sets the pressing force of the media pressing section to first pressing force and drives the first feed roller and the second feed roller in a forward rotation direction, and in a case in which the first detector detects a passage of a leading edge of the media sheet and the second detector detects no passage of the leading edge of the media sheet after predetermined first set time has passed, the controller continues the rotation of the first feed roller and the second feed roller with second pressing force of the media pressing section greater than or equal to the first pressing force.
DEVICE FOR SEPARATING PRINTING PAPER SHEETS AND PRINTER
A device for separating printing paper sheets comprises a base part and an obstruction element. The base part defines a printing paper accommodating cavity. A deforming mechanism is provided to make sure a middle part of the printing paper sheets can be arched and two edges can get close to the bottom of the printing paper accommodating cavity. The obstruction element is arranged with a middle access portion in cooperation with the deforming mechanism, and on two sides of the middle access portion is arranged with blocking portions through which only one printing paper sheet can pass at a time. The device for separating printing paper sheets makes more than one printing paper sheet that may be transmitted at a time during the transmission of the printing paper sheets. A printer achieves smooth transmission of printing paper sheets and alleviates problems such as downtime and failure of the printer.
Sheet cassette
A sheet cassette that accommodates a recording sheet and is connected with a printer includes a first roller contacting a feed roller of the printer, a second roller contacting a recording sheet, a first gear and a second gear attached to a shaft of the first roller, a third gear and a fourth gear attached to a single shaft, and a fifth gear attached to a shaft of the second roller, wherein the first gear independently rotates relative to the first roller and the second gear, the feed gear of the printer engages with the first gear, the first gear engages with the third gear, the fourth gear rotates together with the third gear, the fourth gear engages with the fifth gear, and the second roller is rotated by rotation of the fifth gear.

MEDIUM CONVEYING APPARATUS FOR DETECTING A FOLDING OF A MEDIUM
A medium conveying apparatus includes a first optical sensor located on an upper part of the housing and in a central part of the housing in a direction perpendicular to a medium conveying direction, a second optical sensor located on an upper part of the housing and on a side of the first optical sensor in the direction perpendicular to the medium conveying direction, and a processor to detect a folding of a medium based on the first signal or the second signal, and stop feeding of the medium by the feed roller in accordance with a detection result of the folding of the medium. The first light emitter emits first light toward a downstream side of the medium in the medium conveying direction, and the second light emitter emits second light toward an upstream side of the medium in the medium conveying direction.
