CARD FEEDER FOR A CARD PROCESSING MACHINE
A card feeder including a frame, a reservoir receiving a stack of cards, a separation system including a separation roll, a ballast movable on the frame between a support position on the top of the stack and a stowed position on one side of the stack, a door movable on the frame between an open position and a closed position, a transmission system for moving the ballast from the support position into the stowed position when the door passes from the closed position into the open position, and a return system arranged so as to return the ballast back to the support position when it is in the stowed position.
Arm supporting exoskeleton with a variable force generator
Described herein is an arm supporting exoskeleton including a proximal link, a distal link, a torque generator, and a bracket. The distal link is configured to rotate relative to the proximal link about a first rotational axis forming a first angle between the proximal link and the distal link. The torque generator is configured to provide a torque profile between the proximal link and the distal link as a function of the first angle, thereby producing a supporting force onto the upper arm of the person. The bracket is coupled to one of the proximal link or the distal link. A location of the bracket is adjustable to adjust an effective length of the torque generator to adjust an amplitude of the torque profile provided by the torque generator thereby adjusting the supporting force onto the upper arm of the person.

Card handling apparatus
In order to increase a stored amount of cards in a card handling apparatus that discharges cards stored in the card cassettes one by one, the card handling apparatus is provided with two card cassettes. A first card cassette and a second card cassette are arranged along a conveying path for the card, and when all cards stored in the first card cassette is discharged, the card is discharged from the second card cassette. The first card cassette has a gate for allowing the card discharged from the second card cassette to enter on a back surface. The card discharged from the second card cassette enters the first card cassette from the gate, passing the inside and being discharged from a discharge port of the first card cassette.
