DEVICE FOR TREATING SUBSTRATES
A device for treating substrates has a separation system, with which processed substrates can be separated into one or more waste parts and at least one blank. The device for treating substrates offers improved flexibility. The separation system comprises a transport cylinder and a stripping cylinder associated therewith. The transport cylinder is able to secure replaceable packing, along with first and second openings which, when the packing is secured, are covered at least partially by perforations that may be formed in the packing. A first air supply supplies air to the first openings and a second air supply supplies air to the second openings independently of the supply of the air to the first openings. The first and the second air supply are switchable between a suction air supply and a blower air supply.
Flexible substrate bonding method
The present invention relates to a flexible substrate bonding method and, more particularly, to a bonding method for bonding a flexible substrate to a carrier substrate in order to facilitate handling of the flexible substrate. To this end, the present invention provides a flexible substrate bonding method comprising: a substrate preparation step for preparing a carrier substrate and a flexible substrate; and a bonding step for bonding the carrier substrate to the flexible substrate, which rotates by being wound around a rotation roll, while moving the carrier substrate by a transfer unit, wherein the bonding step includes bringing one edge of the flexible substrate into contact with the carrier substrate, and then gradually bonding the flexible substrate to the carrier substrate in a direction from one side to the other side.
DEVICE FOR SEPARATING SHEET MATERIAL
An apparatus for singling sheet goods which comprises a suction device with a stator and a rotor movable relative to the stator. The stator has at least one first opening and the rotor at least one second opening which overlap upon a rotation of the rotor and thereby define an opening area with a first end and a second end. The opening area extends starting from the first end up to the second end, wherein a section of the opening area between the first end and the second end forms a suction area in which sheet goods to be singled can be sucked by the suction device. The first end of the opening area is arranged spaced from the suction area so that arising noise can be dampened.

Sheet conveying device and image reading apparatus
A sheet conveying device includes a conveyor for conveying a sheet along a predetermined conveyance path and a feeder unit for supporting the sheet to be fed to the conveyor. The conveyor includes a first guide part for guiding the sheet toward a downstream side in the conveying direction in a direction inclined at a downward gradient, a second guide part for guiding the sheet from the first guide part toward a further downstream side in a direction inclined at an upward gradient, a suction roller arranged at the first guide part for conveying the sheet supported by the feeder unit toward the downstream side, and a first conveyance roller arranged at the second guide part and for conveying the sheet conveyed by the suction roller toward the downstream side one at a time.
SHEET INSPECTION DEVICE AND SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment, a sheet inspection device includes an illuminator configured to illuminate a sheet with first light that has a first wavelength band and is absorbed by an adhesion material adhering to the sheet at a high absorptivity and second light that has a second wavelength band and is absorbed by the adhesion material at an absorptivity lower than the first wavelength band, an illumination controller configured to control the illuminator so as to illuminate the sheet alternately with the first light and the second light, a photo receiver configured to receive the first light and the second light that have been transmitted through the sheet, and a detector configured to detect the adhesion material adherent to the sheet based on the difference between the intensity of the first light received by the photo receiver and the intensity of the second light received by the photo receiver.
