Downhill snow sport boot frame
A ski boot frame that is attachable to a soft shell snow boot, for example a snowboard boot, for downhill skiing. The ski boot frame is constructed of multiple rigid materials to provide a user with proper support for downhill skiing. The ski boot frame further includes adjustable toe clip and heel clips for attachment to a standard downhill ski binding. The toe and heel clips are preferably adjustable to fit the frame to a plurality of sizes of ski bindings. The ski boot frame further includes a calf support that provides for a progressive forward resistance critical for downhill skiing.
Adapted toe-piece of a ski binding for also allowing walking uphill
A toe-piece of a ski binding includes rotatable first and second clamping members respectively provided with first and second jaws. First and second rotatable supports rotatably bear the first clamping member and the second clamping member, respectively. In a ski descent configuration, the first and second jaws can elastically retract if solicited by a tip of a ski boot. The first clamping member has a third jaw with a first pin, while the second clamping member has a fourth jaw with a second pin. Locking means are provided which when the ski boot tip is between the third and fourth jaws, the blocking means are activatable to block the third and fourth jaws in angular blocking positions in which the first pin is inserted in a first hole of a ski boot and the second pin is inserted in a second hole of the ski boot, making walking uphill possible.

STOP FOR SHOE BINDING DEVICE
boot on a sliding board, having a base (130; 3) intended to be fixed to the sliding board,
two lateral jaws (101; 8, 9), each mounted to be rotationally mobile on the base (130; 3) about a substantially vertical rotation axis (103; 10, 11), so as to occupy a closed position to hold a boot and a separated position to release or receive a boot,
and a pusher (110; 35) having two lateral trig surfaces (114; 24, 25) each cooperating with a respective ramp (104; 22, 23) of each jaw (101; 8, 9), this pusher (110; 35) being linked to the base (130; 3) by a trig spring (112; 36)
and two links (120; 28, 29) each linked to a jaw (101) by a first lateral axis (123; 14, 15) and linked together by at least one central axis (125; 32).

Bearing Structure With A Pronounced Upward Arch
The invention relates to a combination of a downhill binding or downhill ski binding, in particular a front jaw of the downhill binding, and a ski boot. The ski boot (10) comprises a rigid ski boot shell (11) and a sole (1) of the ski boot comprising a front end (1b) of the sole, a rear end of the sole, an upper side (1a) of the sole and a lower side (1c) of the sole. The downhill binding comprises a front jaw (20) and a rear jaw, wherein the downhill binding comprises a bearing structure (2) for the sole (1) of the ski boot. The bearing structure (2) has an apex (5) which has a distance (X1), in the longitudinal direction (X), from the front end (1b) of the sole held in the downhill binding of at least 28 mm and at most 34 mm, and wherein the apex (5) exhibits a perpendicular distance (Y2) from the upper side (1a) of the sole of the ski boot held in the downhill binding of 19 mm2 mm in at least one point.

Toe unit for alpine touring binding
An apparatus is provided for holding a footwear toe to a snow travel aid. The apparatus comprises jaws that grasp the toe while permitting pivotal movement of the footwear about the toe in forward and rearward directions and is for use with a heel holder that provides for lateral release. The apparatus comprises one or more resilient elements for biasing the jaws whereby the jaws are biased towards a closed position throughout the operational range of motion of the jaws. Also provided is an apparatus which comprises jaws that grasp the toe while permitting pivotal movement of footwear about the toe, wherein the apparatus is adapted for generally horizontal, forward and rearward translation relative to a longitudinal axis of the snow travel aid, selectively by a user. Also provided is an apparatus comprising jaws that grasp the toe while permitting pivotal movement of footwear about the toe, and a lock for inhibiting opening of the jaws, the lock comprising one or more resilient elements which provide resilience while inhibiting opening of the jaws.
