Method for processing a pourable food substance

Disclosed is a method for processing a pourable food substance (1), in particular hot melted cheese, which is introduced, by means of a feed neck (2), into a gap (3) between two vertical shaping rolls that are covered by cooling strips (11, 12) made especially of metal, the food substance (1) is shaped into a product strip (10) having a defined thickness, a carrier film arrangement (21) being placed between the first cooling strip (11) and the product strip (10). In order to be cooled, the product strip (10) is conveyed in the direction of travel (T) along with the carrier film arrangement (21) and is fed to a longitudinal cutting device.

In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a dispenser assembly for dispensing supplies of sheet material. The dispensing assembly can include a carrier supporting the supplies of sheet material and being moveable along a track between various dispensing positions. The dispenser assembly also can include a carrier pivoting assembly with a lever that engages one of the supplies of sheet material and rotates during dispensing thereof, as well as one or more biased pins connected to the lever and configured to engage locking features provided along the track to support the carrier in one of the dispensing positions. The biased pins further can be configured to retract with rotation of the lever such that they disengage the locking features so the carrier to moves along the track to different dispensing position. Other aspects also are described.

ROLLED MATERIAL OR SCREEN MESH DISPENSER

A rolled material dispenser; including a roll supporting structure that supports a plurality of rolls of material, each roll of material having a width and a long axis, the roll supporting structure supporting the rolls of material with the long axes parallel and with a free end of the rolled material extending downwardly from each of the of rolls. The dispenser includes a pinch roller assembly located beneath the roll supporting structure. The pinch roller assembly is movable in a direction perpendicular to the long axes of the rolls of material and the pinch rollers have a second long axis oriented parallel to the first long axis. A conveyor is positioned below the pinch roller assembly and a material cutter assembly facilitates cutting the rolled material.

A housing contains a rotating drum formed by a plurality of tubular canisters. The cannisters hold rolls of paper. A fixed longitudinal cutting base and a corresponding blade track supported by two pivoting arms are positioned on one side of the housing. A blade carriage slidingly engages the longitudinal blade track with a sliding ratcheting lock mechanism. The ratcheting lock is connected to a blade in the blade carriage which locks in place when the blade is extended through a slit in the blade track. The canisters are formed by cylindrical tubes having a rectangular openings extending along their longitudinal lengths, stationary first end caps, sliding second end caps, and sliding tensioners engaged to the canister between the first end cap and the second end cap.

An adhesive tape includes an elongated substrate with a series of perforations forming a tear line extending along a length of the elongated substrate, an adhesive substantially covering a first surface of the elongated substrate, and a cord attached to the elongated substrate by the adhesive, the cord extending along the length of the elongated substrate adjacent to the series of perforations.

ROLL SHEET MATERIAL DISPENSER

A method of dispensing sheet material from two rolls includes dispensing a first sheet of material from a first roll of the material located at a first location, lowering the first roll from the first location as the first sheet of material is being dispensed, lowering a second roll of material onto a second location above the first location when the first roll has been lowered to a location below the first location, and dispensing a second sheet of material from the second roll. A dispenser allowing for dispensing from two rolls includes a first wall having a forward end, a second wall opposite and spaced apart from the first wall and a cam coupled to each wall.

PRINTING APPARATUS

A roll sheet with a continuous sheet wound in a roll form is rotated in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. A sensor whose output is changed in accordance with a distance between the sensor and the sheet is used. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from an opposite direction to the forward direction on the basis of the output of the sensor during rotation of the roll sheet in the opposite direction.

A tissue specimen handling device comprising a tissue processing cassette.

PRINTING APPARATUS AND SHEET STORAGE DEVICE

The invention provides a printing apparatus and a sheet storage device which meet a need for diversification in printing modes while reducing a load on a user. A printing apparatus includes a first holder which rotatably holds a roll sheet, a second holder which is located below the first holder and rotatably holds a roll sheet, a printing unit which performs printing on a sheet reeled out of the first holder or the second holder, a discharge port which is provided above the first holder and discharges the sheet printed by the printing unit, and a receiving unit which is provided between the first holder and the second holder and is capable of establishing a first state of receiving a front end portion of the sheet discharged from the discharge port and a second state of not receiving the front end portion.

A printing apparatus includes a first and a second housing parts, a printing part, and a conveying part which includes a holding part that holds a first paper sheet and a second paper sheet in an overlapped state and respectively pulled out from a first paper roll and a second paper roll, and conveys the first paper sheet out of the first paper sheet and the second paper sheet held by the holding part to the printing part. The holding part includes a contacting member contacting the second paper sheet out of the first paper sheet and the second paper sheet in an overlapped state, and an opposing member arranged opposing the contacting member and contacting the first paper sheet. A first frictional force between the contacting member and the second paper sheet is larger than a second frictional force between the opposing member and the first paper sheet.
