ROLLED GOOD FEEDING DEVICE AND METHOD
The present application relates to rolled good feeding device and method. Material feeding devices and methods are provided for conveying material from material rolls. The material roll may be adjusted in the longitudinal direction during the feeding process by a rectifying frame to aid in maintaining alignment during the unrolling. Tension of the unrolled material may be monitored and unrolling speeds of the feeding device can be adjusted to maintain tension of the material within a range for that material. Aspects also contemplate elements to feed multiple rolled materials simultaneously for subsequent processing in combination as layered materials.
Roll paper printer
A printer is provided with a roll paper holding portion that holds roll paper without axially supporting the roll paper; a sheet conveying unit that conveys a sheet supplied from the roll paper; a printing unit that executes printing on the sheet; and a roll paper pressing unit that presses the roll paper held in the roll paper holding portion, wherein the roll paper pressing unit is provided with a pressing roller that presses the roll paper and rotates along with the sheet conveyance, and a rotation suppressing portion that suppresses the rotation of the pressing roller.

SYSTEM FOR THE CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF FABRICS
Described is a system for managing and controlling fabrics comprising: a first station for moving a fabric, a second station for moving said fabric operatively connected to said first station, a light source positioned in an intermediate position between said first station and said second station configured for illuminating from the bottom upwards a predetermined portion of said fabric, an optical device for acquiring an image or a video of said predetermined portion of said fabric, a data processing and storage unit connected to said optical device and configured to associate with said image or video of said predetermined portion of said fabric identification information of said fabric.
ROOFTOP FABRIC DISPENSING APPARATUS
Machines are disclosed for dispensing a rolled fabric over spaced support beams of a roof and for holding the fabric firmly in place over such beams to protect workers from falling through the gaps between the beams. The machines may include one, some, or all of several different components and features to enhance the system's overall operation and effectiveness. One aspect relates to a hub brake used to help prevent unwinding of the fabric roll in the event of a fall. Another aspect relates to a magnetic brake to help keep the machine from sliding across the support beams in the event of a fall. Another aspect relates to a guide assembly that engages a support beam with a one-directional bearing to also help keep the machine from sliding in the event of a fall.
TRANSPORT DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A transport device unwinds a medium from a roll body to which a shaft member is mounted and transports the medium. The transport device includes an accommodation portion configured to accommodate the roll body, a main body portion to which the accommodation portion is mounted, and a roller pair configured to nip the medium. The accommodation portion and the main body portion are relatively movable. The main body portion includes a rack configured to engage with a gear of the shaft member. The rack is engaged with the gear when the accommodation portion moves relative to the main body portion to be pulled out of the main body portion.
Automatic roller clamp
A media roll holder assembly a web-based printing system comprises a support for rotatably supporting the roll in an operative position, a holding element for rotatably holding the roll on the support, and a pivotable arm on which the holding element is provided. The pivotable arm is formed and positioned to position the holding element on the roll, such that a lifting force for lifting the roll from the support results in a holding force on the holding element in the first angular direction for holding the roll in the operative position on the support. The roll is then rotatably secured in its operative without excess angular forces acting on the roll. As the rotation of the roll is substantially unimpeded, the medium may be transported with great precision, resulting in high quality printing.

Collar retention system for packaging device for dispensing elongated flexible material
A collar retention system is provided that can be used in connection with a packaging device for dispensing elongated flexible material. Some systems can include one or more of retention collars, retention rings, or an elongated rotatable member around which primary collars can be located that can support the primary collars for resisting outward pressure thereon from the elongated flexible material or to prevent the primary collars from shifting lengthwise along the elongated rotatable member away from a lengthwise center of the elongated rotatable member and towards lengthwise opposing ends of the elongated rotatable member.
